Nutley, NJ (September 12, 2016) – Super Bantamweight Brent Venegas made it 2 for 2 with a four-round unanimous decision over Yezber Romero on Saturday night at the Tachi Palace Hotel in Casino in Leemore, California.

The 2016 United States Olympic Alternate boxed a near flawless fight en-route to the decision.

“I had a tough opponent, but I outclassed and used my jab and capitalized on his mistakes,”said Venegas.

After winning his pro debut on July 22nd, Venegas was more settled for his 2nd ring appearance.

“I was more relaxed and was more used to the eight-ounce gloves. I just wanted to be smart. Even though I was better than him, I was very serious and I came out with the victory.”

Venegas and his team hope to be back in the ring very shortly.

“I am going to see my coach on Tuesday and discuss what is next. I am ready to fight as soon as possible.”

Said GH3 Promotions CEO Vito Mielnicki, ” Brent had a nice performance and we have a lot of dates coming up and Brent will be very busy.”
