Split-T Management signs amateur standout Eric Puente to management deal

NEW YORK (September 7, 2018)–Boxing’s deepest management stable just got richer as Split-T Management is proud to announce the signing of amateur standout Eric Puente to an exclusive management deal.

Puente, 19 years old of Vista, California by way of Sinaloa, Mexico will campaign in the lightweight division.

Puente started boxing at the age of eight years-old by his father/trainer, Ivan.

He went on to win the 2016 National Youth Open Championship, and was a member of Team USA. Puente was a favorite to be a member of the 2020 United States Olympic Team.

Puente, who stand 5’8″ likens his style to a cross between Danny Garcia and Yuriorkis Gamboa.

“Boxing is everything to me! I live, eat and sleep boxing 24/7. Boxing is always on my mind,” said Puente. “”When the boxing world sees me fight, they will see and old school warrior that will do everything he can to come out victorious,” said Puente. “I take a lot from all the great fighters of the past like Juan Manuel Marquez, Marco Antonio Barrera, Eric Morales and Sugar Ray Leonard, and put into me: Eric Puente, future superstar in boxing!”
