LAUDERDALE, FL (April 25, 2024)—Hall of Fame boxing promoter Don King and Kris Lawrence’s The Heavyweight Factory present an exciting evening of first-class boxing featuring Adrien “The Problem” Broner (35-4-1 with 24 KOs) and Blair “The Flair” Cobbs (16-1-1 with 10 KOs) on Friday, June 7th at the beautiful Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

The long anticipated featured fight of the night will see Cincinnati’s Adrien Broner stepping into the ring against former NABF Welterweight Champion Blair Cobbs. This high-stakes matchup marks Cobbs’ return to the ring for the first time in nearly two years, facing off against the highly decorated Broner as they fight for the WBC “People’s Championship”.

On the heels of an impressive knockout victory, newly crowned WBC Cruiserweight Champion Norair “The Dark Horse” Mikaeljan (27-2 with 12 KOs) aims to defend his title for the first time against Canada’s hard-hitting Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki (20-1 with 19 KOs).

In addition, Paterson, NJ’s Ian “The Young General” Green (18-2 with 12 KOs) will be defending his WBA Continental USA Middleweight title. The fan-favorite Green enters this bout on the strength of six straight victories.

In addition to the above three championship fights, a heavyweight feature fight is set as

Cassius Chaney (23-1, 16 KOs) of New London, CT takes on Michael “The Bounty” Hunter (22-1-2, 16 KOs) of Las Vegas, NV.

“This spectacular fighting event is dedicated to the honor of the life and legacy of the late great Jose Sulaiman in the spirit of world peace,” said promoter Don King. “Jose was at the forefront of always putting on great fights and we plan to honor him with this great card.”

WBA NABA Light Heavyweight Champion Ahmed “The American Pharoah” Elbiali (23-1, 18 KOs) will defend his title and Michael “The Brazilian Rocky” Oliveira (21-2, 16 KOs) of Miami, FL will be featured in a super middleweight attraction. NABA Welterweight Champion Tresean “Trigger” Wiggins (16-5-3, 9 KOs) of Newburgh, New York will defend his title.  All opponents are to be announced.

Cruiserweight sensation Yuniel “The KO Doctor” Dorticos (26-2, 24 KOs) from Cuba and young Cuban middleweight rising star Yoenlis Feliciano “Yoyo” Hernandez (3-0) will also be featured on the boxing card. 

Rising star, hometown sensation De’von Williams (4-0, 4 KOs) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL will meet Travis Floyd of Douglasville, GA.

ADRIEN BRONER SUFFERS HAND INJURY & IS OFF DEC. 2 DON KING CARD; BRONER EYES A CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT IN LATE FEBRUARY

MIAMI, FL (Nov. 20, 2023)—Adrien “The Problem” Broner suffered an injury to his right-hand and won’t be able to participate in Don King’s People’s Championship boxing card on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Casino Miami Jai Alai.

Broner, who was disappointed he won’t be able to take on Chris Howard in a tune-up fight on his road to the championship, said he will be ready to go by late February. “The hell with tune-up fights,” said Broner. I’m ready to take on any of the champions in the 140- and 147-pound division. I’m ready to fight the big guys. Everything they think I don’t have, I still got. I’m ready to fight Ryan Garcia or, Rolando Romero or the winner of the Regis Prograis—Devin Haney fight.”

“Adrien hurt his hand in the June 9th fight against William Hutchinson,” said trainer Kevin Cunningham. “He returned to camp for six weeks for this fight and reinjured it sparring. He took a couple cortisone shots and went back to work. He hurt it again in training and the doctor said he needs to take time off.”

“We’ll continue to stay in shape and get back to work. I personally guarantee to Don King that we will be in tip top shape for a championship opportunity in late February.”

“Adrien is ready for the big time,” said King. “He’s a four-time World Champion and he’s going to win four more titles under my promotion. We’ll still hold the People’s Championship card on Dec. 2nd with six title fights up for grabs.”

The super sensation fan favorite and WBA Continental America’s middleweight champion, Ian Green (17-2, 11 KOs) from Haledon, NJ will be featured in the main event against St. Louis’ Vaughn Alexander (18-7-1, 11 KOs) for the WBA Continental North American Middleweight title.

Tre’Sean Wiggins (15-5-3, 8 KOs) of Newburgh, NY will defend his NABA Welterweight championship against an opponent to be named.

King also will announce four other title fights to make it a night of six championships.

Former All-American and All-Pro Albert Haynesworth Joins Boxing Hall of Famers and World Champions On the Broner vs. Hutchinson Friday, June 9 Pay-Per-View Broadcast Team As Don King Productions Presents “Return To Glory”

Miami, FL – May 25, 2023 – A slew of Hall of Famers and former World Champions, and a former All-American and All-Pro gridiron star, comprise the broadcast team that will call the action when four-division world champion Adrian “The Problem” Broner returns to the ring on Friday, June 9. Upset minded Bill Hutchinson, who has not lost a fight in seven years, will challenge Broner in a 10-round welterweight bout in the main event of Don King’s “RETURN TO GLORY” pay-per-view extravaganza from The Casino Miami in Miami, Florida. 

Calling the blow-by-blow will be Florida Boxing Hall of Famer Bob Alexander. He will be joined at ringside by former Unified Lightweight World Champion and Florida Boxing Hall of Famer Nate Campbell and former lightweight world champion, Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini.

Alexander, the Vice President of the Florida Boxing Hall of Fame, is a longtime Ring Announcer and fight announcer. Campbell became the Unified Lightweight World Champion after he defeated Juan Diaz on March 8th, 2008, winning the IBF, WBA and WBO titles. Mancini was one of boxing’s most popular fighters in the 80’s and won the WBA Lightweight World title by knocking out Art Frias in the first round on May 8, 1982. Mancini went on to make four title defenses.

Heading the broadcast from the host panel position will be former NFL All-Pro Defensive Tackle Albert Haynesworth and longtime boxing analyst Marc Abrams. Several boxing dignitaries will join them throughout.

Abrams is enshrined in the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame as he has a 21-year career working inside the world of boxing and is the owner of the acclaimed and award-winning website www.15rounds.com.

After an All-American career at The University of Tennessee, Haynesworth was selected in the first round (15th overall) by The Tennessee Titans in the 2002 NFL Draft. Haynesworth was one of the most feared Defensive Tackles in the NFL as he was a First Team All Pro and Pro Bowl selection in 2007 and 2008. A lifelong fight fan, Haynesworth recently has worked as an analyst for the very successful CountryBox: Where Music Meets Boxing monthly series in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Pay-Per-View Broadcast, priced at $24.99, will be available on Fite.tv, DonKing.com and Itube247.com. The Friday, June 9, televised show will begin at 6:50 pm ET / 3:50 pm PT and the first fight walks at 7:03 pm ET / 4:03 pm PT.
