The Boxing Expo will also coincide with the highly anticipated fight between Canelo Alvarez vs Danny Jacobs, that will take place later that evening at the T-Mobile Arena.

The Box Fan Expo is looking forward and thrilled of opening its doors to boxing fans from all over the world as well to all major boxing companies, promoters and industry people during this traditional and special Mexican holiday fight weekend. We will also see later that evening, one of the biggest boxing stars, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez defend his championship belts versus another top fighter (opponent to be announced shortly) at the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas.

From Las Vegas, the boxing mecca of the world, last year’s Box Fan Expo was a huge success. Las Vegas (September 5, 2018) – 4-Division World Champion Juan Manuel Marquez has confirmed that he will appear and hold a Meet & Greet with his fans at the Las Vegas Convention Center for the 4th Annual Box Fan Expo on Saturday September 15, 2018 from 10am to 5pm, during Mexican Independence Day weekend. The Boxing Expo will also coincide with the highly anticipated rematch between Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez vs Gennady ‘GGG’ Golovkin, that will take place later that evening at the T-Mobile Arena.

Marquez will make his first appearance at this years’ Expo from 11am to 12pm at the Box Fan Expo Booth Store and will be signing gloves, photos and personal items. Fans will have an opportunity to also take pictures with this Boxing Legend also known as “Dinamita”

About Juan Manuel Marquez
Marquez is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 1993 to 2014. He is the third Mexican boxer (after Erik Morales and Jorge Arce) to become a world champion in four weight classes, having held nine world championships including the WBA (Super), IBF and WBO featherweight titles between 2003 and 2007; the WBC super featherweight title from 2007 to 2008; the WBA (Super), WBO, Ring magazine and lineal lightweight titles between 2008 and 2012; and the WBO junior welterweight title from 2012 to 2013.

About Andre Ward
Andre Ward is an Olympic gold medalist and former super middleweight and light heavyweight weight world champion. He retired with an undefeated record in September of 2017 and held multiple world titles in two weight classes, including the unified WBA (Super), WBC, Ring magazine, and lineal super middleweight titles between 2009 and 2015; and the unified WBA, IBF, WBO, and Ring light heavyweight titles between 2016 and 2017. During his reign as light heavyweight champion, Ward was ranked as the world’s best active boxer, pound for pound, by The Ring magazine and the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board (TBRB), as well as the world’s best active boxer in the division by The Ring, the TBRB, and BoxRec.

As an amateur, Ward won a gold medal in the light heavyweight division at the 2004 Olympics and turned professional later that year. He rose to worldwide prominence and entered the Super Six World Boxing Classic tournament in 2009, where he won the WBA (Super) super middleweight title from Mikkel Kessler in the opening group stage. In 2011, Ward defeated WBC champion Carl Froch in the tournament final to unify the titles, as well as winning the vacant Ring and lineal titles. That same year, Ward was named Fighter of the Year by The Ring and the Boxing Writers’ Association of America. He later won The Ring’s Comeback of the Year award in 2016.

The highly anticipated bout between “SOG” Ward versus Sergey Kovalev to determine who was the best light heavyweight in the world lived up to its billing as the two battled on November 19th, 2016 for 12 hard fought rounds at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Ward battled back from an early knockdown to take over the bout and win a unanimous decision victory and hand Kovalev his first professional defeat. Fans and pundits alike clamored for a rematch and Ward granted their wish. Mikey Garcia, is an American professional boxer from Mexican descent with a perfect record of 39-0. He is a world champion in four weight classes and a unified lightweight world champion, having held the WBC title since 2017, and the IBF title since July 2018. Previously he held the WBO and Ring magazine featherweight titles in 2013, the WBO junior lightweight title from 2013 to 2014, and the IBF and lineal light welterweight titles from March to April 2018.
