Philadelphia, PA (April 10, 2018) – This past Friday night, super middleweight Brandon Robinson won his 10th straight bout as he won a eight-round unanimous decision over Oscar Riojas in the headline bout of a seven-bout card at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The show was promoted by King’s Promotions.

Robinson dropped Riojas with a left hand in the first round, and he was never challenged against the awkward veteran Riojas.

Robinson, 167.3 lbs of Philadelphia, PA won by scores of 80-71 twice, and 79-72 to rise his mark to 10-1. Riojas, 168.8 lbs of Monterrey, Mexico is 16-9-1.

In a battle of undefeated super bantamweights Raeese Aleem was impressive in winning an eight-round unanimous decision over Marcus Bates.

Aleem scored a knockdown in the opening frame from a left hand. Aleem continued to push the action by taking the lead, while Bates tried to counter, but it was the effective punching Aleem. Aleem won by scores of 80-71 & 79-72 twice.

Aleem, 121.9 lbs of Las Vegas is now 11-0. Bates, 122.9 lbs of Washington, DC is 8-1-1.

Colby Madison and Guillermo Del Rio battled to a six-round majority draw in a heavyweight bout.

Madison was able to draw blood from Del Rio’s right nostril in round three, but Del Rio was able to match Madison punch for punch. Madison took a card 58-56, while two cards read even at 57-57.

Madison, 247.9 lbs of Owings Mills, MD is 6-0-2. Del Rio, 198.8 lbs of South Houston, Texas is 2-2-1.

Poindexter Knight went the distance for the first time, but still came out with an a easy four-round unanimous decision over Vincent Floyd in a welterweight bout.

Knight knocked Floyd down in round one with a nice left-right combination.

Knight, 149.3 lbs of Philadelphia won by scores of 40-35 on all cards and is now 3-0. Floyd, 148.3 lbs of Philadelphia is 3-5-1.

Joshafat Ortiz remained undefeated by pounding out a four-round unanimous decision over Evgueny Metchenov in a junior light bout.

Ortiz landed hard shots that drew blood from the nose of Metchenov in round two. Ortiz won by 40-36 scores on all cards.

Ortiz, 131.5 lbs of Reading, PA is 3-0. Metchenov, 130.7 lbs of Forrestville, MD is 0-2.

Denis Okoth won a four-round split decision over Rasheed Johnson in a welterweight fight.

Okoth took two cards by scores of 40-36 and 39-37, while Johnson won a card 39-37.

Okoth, 143.9 lbs of Siaya, KEN is 2-0-1. Johnson, 147.3 lbs of Philadelphia is 3-2.

Kendall Cannida won a four-round unanimous decision over Carlos Villenueva in a light heavyweight bout,

Cannida sealed the fight with a final round knockdown that came from a nice three-punch combination, and won by scores of 39-36 on all cards.

Cannida, 178.1 lbs of Philadelphia is 2-0. Villenueva, 173.2 lbs of Philadelphia was making his pro debut.

Philadelphia, PA (March 28, 2018) – Rising super middleweight Brandon Robinson is gearing up for his maiden headlining appearance when he takes on veteran Oscar Riojas in a eight-round bout on Friday, April 6th at The 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The 9 bout show is promoted by King’s Promotions.

Robinson (9-1, 7 KOs) has been on a roll as he he has won his last nine bouts in a row, and is getting better with each performance.

The 29 year-old has paid his dues, and has worked his way up the card.

“It feels great to headline. It is a very humbling experience, especially after losing my pro debut, and then being on the bottom of the card. It drives me,” said Robinson.

“My camp has been great. I am feeling really strong. I have been doing a lot of strength and conditioning as well as a a lot of good boxing. I am feeling very comfortable as I go into this fight.”

In Riojas, he is facing a 25-fight veteran, who has faced six-undefeated opponents.

“Riojas has faced world class opposition. He is a strong, hard nosed fighter who is determined. I am looking for a fight that will cause a lot of fireworks on April 6.”

Robinson feels he is just now coming into his own, and his best boxing is yet to come.

“I am coming together well. I don’t have a lot of amateur experience (Robinson had just 4 amateur fights), I am not burnt out. Sometimes these guys get burned out after a long amateur career. I am just seeing the beginning of what I can do, and the best is yet to come. I want to continue to stay active, and if I don’t get bruised up in a fight, I want to get back right in the gym and dight as soon as possible.”

The King’s Promotions event featured the continued ascension of world-ranked junior middleweight Tyrone Brunson. Brunson stopped Manny Woods in eight rounds to capture the UBF International title.

The co-feature was a Philadelphia showdown of super middleweights that saw Brandon Robinson win a unanimous decision over Christopher Brooker for the UBF All Americas Super Middleweight title.

The show was kicked off with a scintillating performance by rising star Jaron Ennis as he took out George Sosa in two rounds.

Philadelphia, PA (December 5, 2017) – Last Friday night Tyrone Brunson stopped Manny Woods to win the UBF International Junior Middleweight title after eight-rounds of a scheduled ten-round bout in front of a sold out crowd at the 2300 Arena.

The exciting 12-bout card was promoted by King’s Promotions.

Brunson of Philadelphia systematically broke down woods as he boxed well using a pinpoint jab over the first half of the fight. In round six, Brunson started landing hard power punches and began to stagger Woods. Finally after round eight, the corner of Woods pulled the plug on the bout, and Brunson scored his 3rd straight win.

Brunson is now 26-6-2 with 24 knockouts. Woods of Saint Petersburg, Florida is 16-7-1.

In the co-feature Brandon Robinson scored the biggest win of his career by winning an eight-round unanimous decision over Christopher Brooker to win the UBF All Americas super middleweight title.

Robinson got the better of the action as he cut Brooker in 2 places around the left eye. Brooker tried to get back in the fight over the last couple rounds, but it was Robinson’s boxing and power punches that propelled him to the victory by 80-72, 79-73 and 78-74.

Robinson of Philadelphia is 8-1. Brooker of Philadelphia is 12-5.

Jaron Ennis took out George Sosa at 1:09 of round two of a scheduled eight-round welterweight bout.

The top prospect, Ennis scored two knockdowns and the fight was stopped at 1:09 of round two.

Ennis of Philadelphia is now 17-0 with 15 knockouts. Sosa of Reading, PA is 15-11-1.

Omar Douglas made short work of Isais Martin Gonzales by scoring a 1st round stoppage in a scheduled six-round super featherweight bout.

The time of the bout was 1:52 for Douglas of Wilmington, Delaware, who raised his mark to 18-2 with 13 knockouts. Gonzales falls to 22-10.

Kyrone Davis won an eight-round unanimous decision over Jamie Barboza in a middleweight bout.

Davis of Wilmington, Delaware took all cards in shutout fashion (Barboza was deducted points on two occasions) by scores of 80-70, and he is now 13-1. Barboza is 19-13.

Joe Hanks won a six-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Joel Cauldle in an entertaining heavyweight bout.

Hanks landed the harder shots and was more active against the game Caudle.

Scores were 60-54 twice and 58-56 for Hanks, of Newark, NJ and he is now 22-2. Caudle of Raleigh, North Carolina is 7-1-1.

Marcus Banks boxed very well for five-plus rounds and then finished off Antonio Rodriguez in the 6th and final round of their super bantamweight bout.

A body shot dropped and stopped Rodriguez at 2:37 of round six, and Bates of Washington, DC is now 8-0-1 with seven knockouts. Rodriguez of Mexico is 11-20-1.

This Friday night, Brandon Robinson and Christopher Brooker meet as professionals in what could shape up to be an explosive co-feature bout of a 12 fight card at the
2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The eight-round bout is for the UBF All-Americas title.

The loaded show is promoted my King’s Promotions.

The main event will pit Tyrone Brunson (25-6-2, 23 KOs) against Manny Woods (16-6-1, 6 KOs) of Saint Petersburg, Florida in a junior middleweight bout scheduled for ten rounds.

“Training has been great. This has been the best camp that I have had since turning professional hands down,” said Robinson.

Although this could be a breakthrough fight for 29 year-old Robinson, He has been looking at Brooker no different than any previous foe.

“I look at every fight as a big fight. I see each fight as if I am fighting Canelo or Golovkin, so I get my self in the best shape I can be.”

Being that they are in the same city, there is the aforementioned history between the two fighters.

“We fought as amateurs, and I won that fight. Since the, we have sparred a couple times, and that has given me a great scouting report on him, and let’s just say I feel very comfortable going into this fight.”

Fighting against another Philly fighter is nothing new for Robinson as he already has a victory over Lamont McLaughlin.

“I have been through this, and these kind of fights bring out the best of me, and with a win on Friday, this will open up many doors for me that I never expected to be opened. I am looking for a complete performance, The fans will see power in both hands, craftiness, ring generalship and a huge heart. I just want to thank King’s Promotions, and I am looking to take home the UBF All-Americas Super Middleweight title.”

For the 26 year-old Brooker, he has been here before but he wants to get back in the win column after losing to undefeated Light Heavyweight Ahmed Elbiali in a fight that he took on short notice on July 18th.

“I got right back in the gym after that fight. I been working for 12 weeks. I have a new personal trainer Jermaine Clark and my new trainer Octavio Pineda,” said Brooker.

Brooker does not believe that the amateur loss to Robinson means anything going into Friday night.

“Yea, it does not mean anything. It was my 3rd amateur fight. The sparring sessions were good. I treated them like I wanted to get some revenge for losing to him, and I am very confident after those sessions. This fight for me is about getting this belt .
