Ray Robinson to Now Take on Silverio Ortiz This Saturday Night at The 2300 Arena in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (February 24, 2022)–Veteran Silverio Ortiz will replace Cleotis Pendarvis in the main event to take on welterweight contender Ray Robinson the six-round main event that will take place this Saturday, February 26th at the 2300 Arena.

Robinson of Philadelphia, has a record of 24-3-2 with 12 knockouts. The 36 year-old Robinson will be shaking off a two-and-a-half-year layoff as he is coming off of back-to-back draws with world title challenger Egidijust Kavaliauskas (21-0) and former British Olympian Josh Kelly (9-0). In both of those fights, most observers believe that Robinson should have had his hand raised in victory. Robinson has wins over Roberto Acevedo (2-0-1), Darnell Jiles Jr. (8-0-1), Former U.S. Olympian Terrance Cauthen (36-7-1), Ray Narh (26-2), Aslanbek Kozoev (25-0-1) and Sherzodbek Almjanov (22-2).

Ortiz of Merida, Mexico has a record of 37-28 with 18 knockouts. At 39 years-old, Ortiz is a 22 year veteran of the ring and has faced no less than nine world champions and a plethora of title challengers, contenders and prospects. John Vera takes on veteran Cleotis Pendarvis Tonight in Biloxi, Mississippi and Live on UFC Fight Pass

NEW YORK (March 4, 2021) -TONIGHT!!! Former NABA Super Welterweight champion, Split-T Management’s John Vera will be back in action tonight as he takes on veteran Cleotis Pendarvis in the main event of a card at the Civic Center in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Vera, 33 years-old of Fort Worth, Texas, has a record of 19-1 with 11 knockouts. The nine-year professional has wins over Alberto Robles (3-0), Radmir Akhmediyev (7-0), Joey Ruelas (10-1-1), Miorad Zizic (12-1), Daniel Rosario Cruz (11-2), Sunday Ajuwa (13-2) and his last bout when he won a unanimous decision over Ravshan Hudaynazarov (17-1) on August 2, 2019 in Las Vegas.

Pendarvis is 21-7-2 with nine knockouts. The 17 year-veteran has wins over John Lewis (5-1), Hector Sanchez (18-0), Rgelio Del Torro (6-0) and Michael Clark (43-7-1),

Both fighters weighed in at 160 lbs.
