NEW YORK (March 11, 2023)–Four Split-T Management fighters picked up victories over the weekend.

Friday night in Bethlehem, PA, heavyweight Devon Young remained undefeated with a vicious second round stoppage over Lemir Riley in a four-round bout.

In round two, with Riley leaning in, Young unleashed a perfect uppercut on the jaw that sent Riley face-first and momentarily out cold at 2:50.

Young of AIken, South Carolina is 4-0 with three knockouts. Riley of New Cumberland, PA is 2-1.

Young is promoted by King’s Promotions.

In Wolverhampton, England, Former two-time world title challenger Kandi Wyatt captured the WBA Intercontinental Welterweight title with a 10-round split decision over Kirstie Bavington.

Wyatt of Calgary, Alberta, Canada won by tallies of 98-92 twice and one card had it for Bavington 96-94.

Wyatt is now 11-4. Bavington of England is 7-3-2.

On the same card, junior middleweight Logan Hollier dropped a decision to former world champion Hannah Rankin. Hollier, who is promoted by DiBella Entertainment, is now 9-3-1.

Saturday in Philadelphia, 2021 United States Olympian Oshae Jones remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over former world champion Dahianna Santana in a welterweight bout at the 2300 Arena.

Jones of Toledo, Ohio won by scores of 60-54 twice and 59-55 and is now 2-0. Santana of New York is 40-15.

On the same card, super flyweight LeAnna Cruz won a six-round unanimous decision over Devany Cuevas Torres.

Cruz of Allentown, PA won by scores of 60-54 twice and 59-55 to raise her mark to 4-0. Torres of San Antonio is 2-3-1.

Wyatt, Jones, Cruz and Hollier are managed by Brian Cohen.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – March 13, 2023 –Julian Rodriguez came back from a 21 month layoff to win an eight-round unanimous decision over streaking Kashon Hutchinson in the main welterweight main event at The Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, PA.

The seven-bout card was promoted by King’s Promotions.

Rodriguez came out fast as he landed some booming power punches which landed flush on Hutchinson. Hutchinson showed an amazing chin as the punches that landed did not seem to faze the Reading, Pa. fighter. The middle rounds saw Hutchinson try to peck away and get some punches through on Rodriguez. Rodriguez showed some solid boxing ability down the stretch.

Rodriguez of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ won by scores of 80-72 and 78-74 on two cards to raise his mark to 22-1. Hutchinson had his seven fight win streak snapped and is now 10-6.

Mikenna Tansley won the NABF and WBA Continental Americas Bantamweight Titles with an eight-round unanimous decision over Amy Salinas.

Tansley was aggressive throughout the fight, and pushed Salinas back repeatedly. In round six, Tansley switched to southpaw and boxed beautifully from that stance over the final three frames and won by scores of 79-73 twice and 78-74.

Tansley of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is 7-2. Salinas of Las Cruces, NM is 4-4.

Jonathan Rodriguez won a six-round unanimous decision over Wilner Soto in a bantamweight contes.

Rodriguez of Bethlehem, PA won by scores of 60-54 on each card and is now 14-1-1. Soto of Colombia is 22-12.

Thanjhae Teasley remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Emmanuel Tennison in a welterweight clash.

Teasley of Bethlehem, PA won by scores of 60-54 on all cards and is now 6-0. Tennison of Fort Worth, Texas is 3-5.

Johnny Spell scored a knockdown en-route to a six-round unanimous decision over ANtonio Dunton-El in a lightweight contest.

Spell of Pittsburgh won by scores of 60-53 twice and 59-54 and is now 8-0. Dunton-El of Baltimore is 3-2-2.

Francis Oran stopped Joseph Bond after round two of their four-round heavyweight bout.

Oran dominated the bout and Bond’s corner saw enough to pull their fighter after the second frame.

Oran of Allentown, is 3-0 with two knockouts. Bond of Orlando is 0-5.

Devon Young scored a vicious second round stoppage over Lemir Riley in a battle of undefeated heavyweights.

In round two, Riley leaned in and caught an uppercut right on the chin and was momentarily knocked out cold face-first at 2:50.

NEW YORK (NOVEMBER 22, 2021)–This Past weekend, four Split-T Management fighters picked up victories including Kali Reis defending WBA/IBO Super Lightweight titles and picking up the WBO title in the process.

The winning ways started off on Thursday night as Sonny Conto remained undefeated, and thrilled his hometown fans by scoring a third-round stoppage over Joel Caudle at the inaugural boxing card at the Live Casino Hotel Philadelphia.

Caudle stood in and landed some flush shots. Conto gave as good as he received as he rocked Caudle several times over the first two rounds. In round three, Caudle continued to stand in and wanted to trade with the bigger Conto., but Conto landed a huge right hand that sent Caudle to the deck. Caudle got to his feet, but was wobbly, and referee Benjy Esteves stopped the fight at the end of round three.

Conto, 220.2 lbs. of Philadelphia is 8-0 with seven knockouts. Caudle, 257.1 lbs. of Raleigh, NC is 8-6-2.

Friday night at the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire, Kali Reis retained her WBA/IBO Super Lightweight titles and added the vacant WBO Title with a thrilling split-decision over fellow Split-T fighter Jessica Camara.

Camara started strong and was able to get in some good left hooks. Reis came on down the stretch and showed championship experience.

In round 10, Camara was badly cut over her left eye.

The two waged a vicious war in that 10-round as Reis landed some hard punches.

Reis landed 158 of 556 punches; Camara was 159 of 547.

Reis, 138 lbs. of Providence, RI won by scores of 97-93 twice with Camara taking a card 95-94

Reis is now 19-7-1. Camara, 139 lbs. of Montreal, raised her stock in defeat, is 8-3.

Reis, who is promoted by DiBella Entertainment. will now take on Chantelle Cameron for the undisputed title.

Also in Manchester, light heavyweight Khalil Coe fought to a four-round draw with Aaron Casper

Saturday night in Las Vegas, 2021 United States Olympian Tiger Johnson made a successful pro debut with a 4th round stoppage over Antonius Grable in a welterweight bout.

Johnson worked a solid right hand behind an effective jab. In round four, Johnson landed a hard right that rocked Grable that was ruled a knockdown. Johnson jumped on Grable and landed several clipping rights to the chin that hurt Grable, and the fight was stopped at 1:54.

Johnson of Cleveland, and is promoted by Top Rank, is 1-0 with one knockout. Grable of Sarasota, Florida is 3-2-1.

Also Saturday in Philadelphia, heavyweight Devon Young made it 2-0 with a unanimous decision over Nicoy Clarke at The 2300 Arena.

Young, who is promoted by King’s Promotions, pounded away at a game Clarke and won by scores of 40-36 cards.

Young of Aiken, South Carolina is 2-0. Clarke of Jersey City, NJ is 2-7.

PHILADELPHIA (October 14, 2021)–King’s Promotions is set to return to the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia on Saturday, November 20th with a big card of boxing planned that will feature outstanding talent in competitive fights.

Making his hometown debut will be top prospect Atif Oberlton.

Oberlton will take part in a six-round light heavyweight bout against Brent Oren (4-6, 1 KO) of Harrisburg, PA.

Oberlton, 23 years-old of Philadelphia is considered one OF the top prospects in the sport, and he is coming off a 5th round stoppage of Jasper McCargo (4-1-2) on June 27th in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Oberlton of Philadelphia was the number-two ranked light heavyweight in the United States and was a favorite to be part of the United States Olympic team, but he decided to turn his attention to the paid ranks.

Oberlton competed in approximately 100 amateur fights where he won many tournaments, including: U.S. National Junior Olympics; Two-time National Golden Gloves champion and Eastern Elite Qualifier. Oberlton placed 2nd at the 2020 United States Olympic Trials.

NEW YORK (September 6, 2021) – “The Blonde Bomber” Ebanie Bridges won a hard-fought decision over French Bantamweight Champion Mailys Gangloff on Saturday in Leeds, England. Bridges, who was fighting just four weeks after her 3rd round stoppage over Bec Connolly, stepped in the ring sporting the Leeds colors of White, Blue, and Yellow to a wonderful ovation from the fans in attendance.

Coming forward behind a tight guard from the get-go, Bridges appeared to injure her right hand early in the bout and later endured swelling around her right eye – perhaps a remnant of her hard fought battle against Shannon Courtenay this past April. Bridges was forced to bite down and tough it out through eight rounds against a very fit and competitive opponent in Gangloff. Bridges ultimately prevailed, winning by a referee score of 77-76 to raise her record to 7-1.

Bridges’ hand was visibly swollen after the fight with X-rays revealing significant bruising in her hand. The injury will undoubtedly take some time to heal, but when she is back Bridges will be looking to step up into the type of fights that will excite her now global fanbase – likely including a rematch with WBA Bantamweight champion Courtenay.

Devon Young score 1st round KO in Debut

Young, 23 years-old of Aiken, South Carolina, took out Kenneth Thomas in the opening round in Columbia, South Carolina.

Young compiled an impressive 42-12 mark as an amateur.

As an amateur fighter, Young made it to the 2020 Olympic Trials, and was a Western qualifier champion in 2017 & 2018, and the 2015 Youth Open Champion. He also was a 2014 Junior Olympic champion.

Young has the distinction as being the last American fighter to defeat Olympic Silver Medal winner Super Heavyweight, Richard Torrez

NEW YORK (July 26, 2021) – Split-T Management has signed heavyweight Devon Young to a managerial contract.

The 22 year-old Young is from Aiken, South Carolina, and compiled an impressive 42-12 mark as an amateur.

Dave McWater is one of the top managers in boxing, This will put me in a great position to get to my dreams, and that is to become world champion,” said Young. “Split-T has many talented fighters, and I am grateful to join them. I expect to make my pro debut on September 4th in Columbia, South Carolina. I am a boxer-puncher that is more aggressive and I like to come forward. I am very athletic, I can’t wait to show the world my talents”

As an amateur fighter, Young made it to the 2020 Olympic Trials, and was a Western qualifier champion in 2017 & 2018, and the 2015 Youth Open Champion. He also was a 2014 Junior Olympic champion.

Young has the distinction as being the last fighter to defeated current United States Olympic Super Heavyweight Richard Torrez

Young’s athletic prowess extends beyond the ring as he was a star football player on both sides of the ball who earned a scholarship to Georgia Military College as a Running Back and Defensive End.

Devon is trained by his uncle Terry Cade, who himself was a former professional boxer.
