OFFICIAL RESULTS PEOPLE’S CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY, DEC. 2, AT THE CASINO MIAMI JAI-ALAI 

Championship” event delivered a spectacular night of fights at the Casino Miami Jai Alai Saturday night. The evening’s main event featured WBA Middleweight Continental USA champion Ian Green (18-2, 12 KOs) successfully defending his title against St. Louis, MO’s challenger Vaughn Alexander (18-8, 11 KOs). Establishing his jab early, the measured Green landed a devasting body shot that floored Alexander for a ten count in the eighth round.

The co-main event saw reigning WBA NABA Welterweight champion Tre’sean Wiggins (16-5-3, 9 KOs) score an emphatic first round TKO over Cincinnati, OH’s Chris Howard (18-3-1, 8 KOs). Stunning Howard within the first ten seconds of the first round, Wiggins quickly found his pace. Wiggins entered this bout on the strength of an impressive four straight victories.

Harrisburg, PA’s Antonio Perez (9-0, 5 KOs) and Las Vegas, NV’s Haskell Rhodes (29-6-1, 14 KOs) clashed for the WBC Vacant International Lightweight title in a back-and-forth brawl. Though a competitive bout, Perez’s speed proved to be too overwhelming for the lightweight veteran. Scoring two knockdowns in the tenth round, the newly crowned Perez was victorious via unanimous decision.

Lastly, Colombia’s Alex Castro (14-1, 11 KOs) outclassed Harry K. Cruz (14-4, 11 KOs) for ten rounds, defending his WBA NABA Middleweight title in the process.

Green on his victory: “Like I said before I’m a dog. He caught me with a good shot, so I had to show him and switch it up. I worked on that body shot every day in the gym, and I made it happen today.”

Green on what’s next: “I told Don, whoever he puts in front of me, I’ll beat them. I want champions, I want the best.”

Split-T Management’s Undefeated Middleweight Tyler Howard in Action Tonight against Ian Green in Las Vegas

New York (November 5, 2021)–Tonight at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, undefeated middleweight Tyler Howard takes on Ian Green in a middleweight bout scheduled for eight-rounds.

Howard is managed by Split-T Management.

The fight will be streamed on ESPN+ beginning at 8:30 PM ET / 5:30 PM PT

Howard of Crossville, Tennessee has a record of 19-0 with 11 knockouts.

The 27 year-old Howard will be making his 2021 debut. Howard has quality wins over Isiah Seldon (12-1-1) and Cristian Olivias (16-3). In his last outing, Howard won an eight-round unanimous decision over KeAndre Leatherwood on November 14, 2020 at The MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Green of Haledon, New Jersey, has a record of 14-2 with 11 knockouts. The 28 year-old Green has a knack for taking out undefeated fighters as he has wins over Khiary Gray (13-0), Andy Mejias (15-0) and his last bout when he stopped Theophilus Ofeil Dodoo (8-1) in one round on June 5th in Dubai.

At Thursday’s weigh-in Howard and Green both weighed in at the middleweight limit of 160 lbs.

Heavyweight Joe Hanks takes on Nicholas Guivas on Saturday, November 5th at the Morristown Nation Guard Armory in Morristown, New Jersey

Morristown, NJ (October 21, 2016) – Heavyweight contender, Joe Hanks makes his return to the squared circle when he takes on Nick Guivas in a scheduled eight-round bout on Saturday night, November 5th at the Morristown National Guard Armory in Morristown, New Jersey.

The card will be the inaugural event promoted by Ambush Promotions.

In the co-feature, Denis “The Momma’s Boy” Douglin will see action in a super middleweight bout scheduled for eight-rounds.

Hanks of Newark, New Jersey has a record of 21-2 with 14 knockouts.

The 33 year-old turned professional December 6, 2007 with a 2nd round stoppage over Joseph Rabotte in the Bronx. Hanks went on to win his first 21 bouts, which included wins over Alfredo Escalrera Jr. (18-3-1), Johnnie White (22-2), Anthony Gatt (7-1-1), Ashanti Jordan (10-0) & Hildo Silva (4-2-2).

After losing to undefeated Andy Ruiz, Hanks dropped a ten-round unanimous decision to Derric Rossy on May 16, 2014 in Montreal.

Guivas of Topeka, Kansas, has a record of 12-5-1 with 9 knockouts.

Guivas, 37 years-old, turned professional in 2011, was undefeated in his first five outings. Guivas has wins over Justin Willms (4-1) and Thomas Jones (1-0).

Of Guivas’ five setbacks, four were to the likes of Eugene Hill (33-1), Jarrell Miller (16-0-1), Chazz Witherspoon (33-3) and Bowie Tapou (23-3).

Douglin of Marlboro, New Jersey has a record of 20-5 with 13 knockouts.

The popular 28 year-old has shown that he is willing to take on all comers.

He turned professional on February 13th, 2009 with a 1st round stoppage over Roberto Irrizarry. Douglin went on to win his first 12 bouts, with 1st round knockouts over Matt Berkshire (11-2-2), Orphius Waite (5-1-1) and a decision over Lamar Harris (6-1).

After a stunning upset loss to Doel Carrasquillo, Douglin scored solid wins over Steven Martinez (11-0) and Phillip McCants (9-2-1). Douglin then dropped back to back fights to future world champion Jermell Charlo (17-0) and Jose Angel Rodriguez (16-2-1).
