Split-T Management’s Ievgen Khytrov and Antonio Vargas Score Knockouts in Tampa, Florida

NEW YORK (November 26, 2019)–Super Middleweight Ievgen Khytrov and Antonio Vargas each added to their win and knockout total by taking out Ernest Amuza and Szilvzter Kanales respectively on Saturday night at The Bryan Glazer JCC in Tampa, Florida.

Khytrov and Vargas are managed by Split-T Management.

Khytrov dominated the action, until Amuzu had enough and the fight was stopped at 2:59 of round three of their scheduled eight-round fight.

Khytrov registered his 3rd consecutive stoppage, and is now 20-3 with 17 knockouts. Amuzu is now 25-5.

Khytrov is promoted by Dibella Entertainment.

2016 United States Olympian, Vargas was successful in his 1st bout since suffering his 1st pro defeat when he stopped Kanales at 2:38 of round two of their scheduled six-round bantamweight contest.

Vargas of Kissimmee, Florida upped his record to 11-1 with five knockouts.

NEW YORK (November 23, 2019)–TONIGHT at the Bryan Glazer JCC in Tampa, Florida, super middleweight Ievgen Khytrov and bantamweight Antonio Vargas will be in action as part of a big 12-bout card.

Khytrov takes on Ernest Amuzu in an eight-round bout, while 2016 United States Olympian Vargas battles Szilveszter Kanales in a six-round fight.

Khytrov of Brooklyn, New York has a record of 19-2 with 16 knockouts. The former Ukrainian amateur star has won two bouts in a row since appearing on The Contender.

The six-year veteran shot up the middleweight ranks by defeating quality fighters in Chris Chatman (12-3-1), Willie Fortune (17-1), Louis Rose (11-1-1), Maurice Louishomme (8-0-1), Jorge Melendez (28-4-1), Aaron Coley (9-0-1), Nick Brinson (17-3-2), Jose Luteran (14-2), Kenneth McNeill (9-1) and Paul Mendez (19-2-2) all in his 1st 14 fights.

Khytrov has rebounded very well with stoppage wins over Malcolm McAllister (9-2) and his last bout when Khytrov stopped Gabriel Pham (11-1) in six-round on August 1st in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.

Amuzu of Prichard, Alabama via Ghana, has an impressive mark of 25-4 with 22 knockouts.

The former Ghanaian Middleweight champion is coming off a 3rd round knockout loss to Brandon Robinson on September 14, 2018 in Philadelphia.

Vargas has a record of 10-1 with four knockouts.

The 23 year-old native of Kissimmee, Florida has a win over undefeated Jonathan Garza. Vargas is looking to get back in the win column after suffering his first defeat on May 25th to Jose Maria Cardenas.

Kanalas of Pecs, Hungary has a record of 14-9 with nine knockouts.

Kanales is a very capable fighter as he is a former WBF Super Flyweight champion. He won that title with a 12-round split decision over Jozsef Ajtai on December 29, 2015.

Kanales, who turned professional also has a win over Zoltan Bodnar (1-0)




Michael Moore and Ievgen Khytrov to compete on undercard of The Contender Finale Tonight!!

NEW YORK (November 9, 2018) –Michael Moore and Ievgen Khytrov of Split-T Management will be on display in separate bouts when that take part of the undercard of the The Contender Finale in Inglewood, California.

Moore (17-2, 7 KOs) of Cleveland, Ohio takes on Eric Walker (17-2, 8 KOs) in the televised co-feature, while Khytrov (17-2, 14 KOs) of Brooklyn, New York via Ukraine squares off with Malcom McAllister (9-2, 8 KOs) in a six-round bout.

BRANDON ADAMS ADVANCES TO SEMI-FINALS OF THE CONTENDER

PHILADELPHIA / LOS ANGELES – October 24, 2018 – Brandon Adams advanced to the semi-final round of The Contender on EPIX®.

Adams, 19-2 with 13 knockouts, won a five-round unanimous decision over highly-regarded Ievgen Khytov on the most recent episode that aired on Friday night.

In that bout, Adams dropped Khytov in round two with a left hook. Adams continuously beat Khytrov to the punch, and did some of his work on the inside. Adams went on to win by scores of 50-44 and 49-45 twice.

Adams will now face the winner of the John Thompson / Eric Walker bout in the semi-final round.
