Julian Rodriguez Decisions Kashon Hutchinson

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – March 13, 2023 –Julian Rodriguez came back from a 21 month layoff to win an eight-round unanimous decision over streaking Kashon Hutchinson in the main welterweight main event at The Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, PA.

The seven-bout card was promoted by King’s Promotions.

Rodriguez came out fast as he landed some booming power punches which landed flush on Hutchinson. Hutchinson showed an amazing chin as the punches that landed did not seem to faze the Reading, Pa. fighter. The middle rounds saw Hutchinson try to peck away and get some punches through on Rodriguez. Rodriguez showed some solid boxing ability down the stretch.

Rodriguez of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ won by scores of 80-72 and 78-74 on two cards to raise his mark to 22-1. Hutchinson had his seven fight win streak snapped and is now 10-6.

Mikenna Tansley won the NABF and WBA Continental Americas Bantamweight Titles with an eight-round unanimous decision over Amy Salinas.

Tansley was aggressive throughout the fight, and pushed Salinas back repeatedly. In round six, Tansley switched to southpaw and boxed beautifully from that stance over the final three frames and won by scores of 79-73 twice and 78-74.

Tansley of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is 7-2. Salinas of Las Cruces, NM is 4-4.

Jonathan Rodriguez won a six-round unanimous decision over Wilner Soto in a bantamweight contes.

Rodriguez of Bethlehem, PA won by scores of 60-54 on each card and is now 14-1-1. Soto of Colombia is 22-12.

Thanjhae Teasley remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Emmanuel Tennison in a welterweight clash.

Teasley of Bethlehem, PA won by scores of 60-54 on all cards and is now 6-0. Tennison of Fort Worth, Texas is 3-5.

Johnny Spell scored a knockdown en-route to a six-round unanimous decision over ANtonio Dunton-El in a lightweight contest.

Spell of Pittsburgh won by scores of 60-53 twice and 59-54 and is now 8-0. Dunton-El of Baltimore is 3-2-2.

Francis Oran stopped Joseph Bond after round two of their four-round heavyweight bout.

Oran dominated the bout and Bond’s corner saw enough to pull their fighter after the second frame.

Oran of Allentown, is 3-0 with two knockouts. Bond of Orlando is 0-5.

Devon Young scored a vicious second round stoppage over Lemir Riley in a battle of undefeated heavyweights.

In round two, Riley leaned in and caught an uppercut right on the chin and was momentarily knocked out cold face-first at 2:50.

Young of AIken, South Carolina is 4-0 with three knockouts. Riley of New Cumberland, PA is 2-1.

In a featured contest, bantamweight, Jonathan Rodriguez will take part in a six-round bout against Nestor Robledo.

Rodriguez Decisions Vazquez in Bethlehem

Reading, PA (September 26, 2022)–Rising bantamweight Jonathan Rodriguez took a eight-round unanimous decision over Oscar Vazquez in front of a terrific crowd at The Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, PA

The six-bout card was promoted by King’s Promotions.

Rodriguez, who is promoted by King’s Promotions, took the victory by scores of 79-73 twice and 78-74 to raise his record to 11-1-1.  Vazquez is now 15-4-1.

Lightweight James Bernadin remained undefeated with a fifth round stoppage over veteran Jairo Lopez in a scheduled six-round bout.

The time of the stoppage was 1:07 for Bernadin of Lancaster, PA who is pro\moted by King’s Promotions and is now 8-0-1 with five knockouts.  Lopez of Mexico 27-17.

King’s Promotions signee Joseph Jackson remained perfect by stopping Anthony Lenk in round three of an eight-round super welterweight bout.

PHILADELPHIA (May 5, 2020)–An intriguing eight-round junior welterweight between Kenny Robles and undefeated James Bernadin will headline a big night of boxing on Friday, May 20th at The 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The card is promoted by King’s Promotions.

Robles of Staten Island, New York, has a record of 9-1 with three knockouts. He has won over previously undefeated Shawn West (9-1, 3 KOs) and is coming off a eight-round unanimous decision over Naim Nelson on March 11th in Bethlehem, PA.

Bernadin of Lancaster, Pennsylvania is 6-0-1 with four knockouts, and already has impressive wins over previously undefeated Osvaldo Morales (4-0), Edgar Tirres (8-2-1). In his last bout, the 29 year-old Bernadin stopped Kevin Asmat in the sixth round on March 11th in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Taking part in a six-round bout will be surging super middleweight Khainell Wheeler.

Wheeler of Bethlehem is 7-1 with six knockouts. The 28 year-old Wheeler has been impressive in beating previously undefeated Frederick Julan (12-0) and his last outing when he needed just 82 seconds in taking out Ryan Adams on March 11th in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Seeing action in a eight-round lightweight bout will be undefeated Victor Padilla taking on Jesus Perez (13-13-1, 7 KOs) of Sinaloa, Mexico.

Padilla of Philadelphia is 9-0 with eight knockouts. The 23 year-old Padilla has wins over Romain Tomas (8-2) and his last bout when he stopped previously undefeated Thomas Velasquez (10-0-1) on March 10, 2021 in Uncasville, Connecticut.

In a six-round bout, Kashon Hutchinson (10-5,1 KO) of Reading, PA takes on Damon Towns (4-0, 3 KOs) of Providence, RI in a welterweight contest.

Also on the card will be King’s Promotions fighters that will take part in six-round bouts, junior middleweight James Martin (7-3) of Philadelphia, lightweight, bantamweight Jonathan Rodriguez (10-1, 3 KOs) of Bethlehem, PA will see action against opponents to be named.

Seeing action in a four-round bout will be undefeated welterweight Thanjhae Teasley (2-0, 2 KOs) of Bethlehem, PA taking on Jetter Burgos (1-0) of Bronx, New York.
