Philadelphia, PA (April 4, 2018) – Two undefeated super bantamweight prospects will put their record on the line for when Marcus Bates (8-0-1, 7 KOs) of Washington, DC takes on Raeese Aleem (10-0, 5 KOs) of Las Vegas in a terrific eight-round co-feature bout that will take place THIS FRIDAY NIGHT at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The 7 bout show is promoted by King’s Promotions.

In the main event, rising super middleweight Brandon Robinson (9-1, 7 KOs) of Philadelphia will take on Oscar Riojas (16-8-1, 5 KOs) of Monterrey, Mexico in a bout scheduled for eight-rounds.

Bates and Aleem have to be commended for taking this fight, as fighters in this day and age seemingly stay way from fellow undefeated foes until later in their careers.

They are both ready for what could be a career accelerating fight on Friday.

ON TRAINING CAMP AND THEIR OPPONENT

Bates –“Everything is great. I don’t know much about Aleem, I am not much for watching tape of my opponents, I don’t worry about them, they have to worry about me.”

Aleem– “Training went well. I had good sparring for this fight. I know he is from Washington, DC. that’s about all I know about him.”

ON FACING AN UNDEFEATED OPPONENT EARLY IN THEIR CAREER

Bates–“I want to be the best. For that, I want to fight the best, and even though I have only 9 fights, I am ready to fight anyone.”

Aleem–“It doesn’t matter who is in front of me. I have been looking to fight other undefeated guys, but they have been ducking me and not taking those fights for various reasons. Bates accepted the fight, and it is going down on Friday.

Philadelphia, PA (March 28, 2018) – Rising super middleweight Brandon Robinson is gearing up for his maiden headlining appearance when he takes on veteran Oscar Riojas in a eight-round bout on Friday, April 6th at The 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The 9 bout show is promoted by King’s Promotions.

Robinson (9-1, 7 KOs) has been on a roll as he he has won his last nine bouts in a row, and is getting better with each performance.

The 29 year-old has paid his dues, and has worked his way up the card.

“It feels great to headline. It is a very humbling experience, especially after losing my pro debut, and then being on the bottom of the card. It drives me,” said Robinson.

“My camp has been great. I am feeling really strong. I have been doing a lot of strength and conditioning as well as a a lot of good boxing. I am feeling very comfortable as I go into this fight.”

In Riojas, he is facing a 25-fight veteran, who has faced six-undefeated opponents.

“Riojas has faced world class opposition. He is a strong, hard nosed fighter who is determined. I am looking for a fight that will cause a lot of fireworks on April 6.”

Robinson feels he is just now coming into his own, and his best boxing is yet to come.

“I am coming together well. I don’t have a lot of amateur experience (Robinson had just 4 amateur fights), I am not burnt out. Sometimes these guys get burned out after a long amateur career. I am just seeing the beginning of what I can do, and the best is yet to come. I want to continue to stay active, and if I don’t get bruised up in a fight, I want to get back right in the gym and dight as soon as possible.”

“It’s always Gorilla season. I am looking to put on a great show as the main event on April 6th. A show-stopping performance, and make a big statement.”

In the eight-round co-feature, former world title challenger Jose Gonzalez (24-2, 19 KOs) of Toa Baja, PR will take on an opponent to be named in a super lightweight bout.

Philadelphia, PA (March 6, 2018) – Rising super middleweight, Brandon Robinson will take on veteran Oscar Riojas in an eight-round bout that will headline a huge night of boxing on Friday night, April 6th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The 10-bout card is promoted by King’s Promotions.

Robinson of Philadelphia has a record of 9-1 with seven knockouts.

The 29 year-old Robinson is a two-year professional, and has won nine straight fights. He has a 1st round knockout over previously undefeated Brandon Clark, as well a eight-round unanimous decision over tough veteran Christopher Brooker. In his last bout, Robinson disposed of Juan Zapata in the 1st round on January 26th in Philadelphia.

Riojas of Monterrey, Mexico has a record of 16-8-1 with five knockouts.

The 34 year-old Riojas is a five year professional who won his first 11 bouts. Riojas has been in the ring with title challengers Ronald Gavril, Vyacheslav Shabranskyy as well as undefeated fighters Conrad Cummings, Immanuwel Aleem, Francy Ntetu, Enrique Collazo & Ronald Ellis.

Riojas is on a two-fight win streak with his latest triumph coming on October 28th as he stopped Ivan Lagunas in the 1st round in Mexico.

In the eight-round co-feature, former world title challenger Jose Gonzalez will take on Zac Ramsey in a super lightweight bout scheduled for eight-rounds.

Gonzalez of Toa Baja, Puerto Rico has a record of 24-2 with 19 knockouts.

The 34 year-old is 10 year professional won his 1st 22 bouts with wins over Osenohan Vazquez (1-0), Eric Cruz (5-1-2), Hector Marengo (5-0-4), & Edgardo Soto (12-2) before challenging Ricky Burns for the WBO Lightweight title.

In that fight, Gonzalez was well on his way to becoming a world champion before having to bow out of the fight with an injured hand.

Gonzalez went on to become a two-time WBO Latino Lightweight champion and defeated Marvin Quintero. In his last bout, Gonzalez lost to Diego Magdaleno when Gonzalez could not continue due to a severe low blow.

Ramsey of Springfield, Massachusetts has a record 8-2 with four knockouts.

The 28 year-old Ramsey is a six-year professional.

Ramsey won his first seven bouts, has two wins over undefeated fighters Edwon Soto (9-0-2) and Divante Jones (9-0). He is coming off close decision loss to Philadelphian Raymond Serrano on September 22, 2017.
