Undefeated 2012 Olympian Junior Castillo set to make American debut on Friday night in Fort Washington, Maryland

Fort Washington, MD (December 3, 2015) – THIS FRIDAY NIGHT at the Historic Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, Maryland undefeated 2012 Olympian Junior Castillo is set to make his American debut when he takes on Roland Nagy in a Jr. Middleweight bout scheduled for 6-rounds.

In the main event, Undefeated Forestville, Maryland super lightweight Mykal “The Professor” Fox (7-0, two KOs) will face his toughest challenge to date when he faces Adam “Bad Boy” Maté (18-6, 11 KOs) of Sopron, Hungary The six-round bout will headline a stacked 8-fight lineup that will not have a single boxer with a losing record on the card.

Castillo of the Dominican Republic competed in the 2012 London games before losing to home country favorite Anthony Ogogo.

Castillo turned professional a year later and has racked up seven wins, all by knockout before signing with King’s Promotions where he is set to make his maiden voyage on American soil while making his first start under the King’s Promotional banner.

“I feel really good and strong. I am really happy to be competing in the United States. I want people in the states to remember who I am,” said Castillo, who is training in Reading, Pennsylvania with trainer Moe Morales.

“It was a great experience to fight in the Olympics and that has helped me in the pro ranks.”

After fighting his first seven bouts in the Dominican Republic, Castillo is eager to impress his new promoter Marshall Kauffman of King’s Promotions.

“I feel good to sign with King’s Promotions. I feel that I have a lot of support with them and I have surrounded myself with a good team.”

In Nagy, he is fighting an opponent that sports a respectable record of 6-1 with four knockouts and he defeated two undefeated fighters.

“All I know about him is that he is a southpaw and he has a good record. I just rely on my ability and training and I feel, I will put on a great performance.”

“I am looking to be a world champion and be the best in my division. A feared fighter. Junior Castillo will be one of the names to remember all over the world. I will be here a long time and I will be a champion.”

Said trainer Moe Morales, “Junior has been doing great. He has been waiting a long time for this chance. He has been training eight weeks and he has a lot of talent. Fox has been in camp training under his father Troy, and he is ready to impress this Friday night.

“Training has been great. We have been working on technique and our craft and I am ready to go on Friday night,” said Fox.

In Mate, he is facing a fighter who is battle tested and fought all over the world, while Fox has just seven professional fights to show on his ledger.

“He has 24 fights. This is definitely the biggest fight of my career so far, I am super excited and fighting a guy with his experience will show where I am at in my career. It will show where I belong. My defense will keep me out of trouble and my offense will get me the win.”

At just 20 years-old and 28 rounds under his belt, this will be the first main event for Fox, but he is poised and ready to entertain the hometown fans.

Fox will be making his first appearance under the Kings promotional banner after inking a deal with them on October 8, 2015. The 19-year-old undefeated prospect turned pro in April of 2014 after participating in more than 100 amateur bouts. The 6’4″ Fox is the younger brother of undefeated junior middleweight Alantez, who is a DiBella Entertainment signee. The Fox Brothers are trained by their father, Troy, at the Lloyd Irvin Academy in Temple Hills, MD.

Maté, 24-years-old, is the former Hungarian Lightweight Champion and enters the bout with wins in 3 of his last 4 bouts. His only appearance fighting in the United States, earlier this year, Maté fought valiantly in a nationally televised bout against undefeated Top Rank prospect William Silva before being stopped in the fifth round by a body shot.

Born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic but fighting out of Brooklyn, Dominguez looks to finish out 2015 with his undefeated record intact and 20 pro wins to his name. This would mark three straight wins in 2015 after he defeated Carlos Rodriguez in February and Mario Macia in May. Prior to 2015, the 29-year-old has picked up victories over German Meraz, Camilo Perez and Jhon Alberto Molina.

The 29-year-old Vicente enters his December 8 bout with two straight victories after knocking out Reynaldo Villamizar and Manuel de los Reyes Herrera. He was undefeated in 26 professional fights before making his U.S. debut in 2012. Born in the Dominican Republic but fighting out of Miami, Vicente will surely be the stiffest challenge yet for the unbeaten Dominguez.

An undefeated prospect out of Santurce, Puerto Rico, Tapia is quickly rising to contender status in the cruiserweight division. Tapia turned pro in 2011 and made his U.S. debut with a first round knockout over Rafael Valenzuela. The 25-year-old has had a busy 2015, picking up four victories inside of the distance including his most recent triumph, a first-round stoppage of Anthony Caputo Smith. He will be opposed by the 33-year-old Wilson out of Philadelphia who enters this fight on a three-bout win streak.

An undefeated prospect out of East Meadow, New York but fighting out of Richmond, Virginia, Aleem comes off of a dominant victory over Oscar Riojas in September. The 22-year-old has racked up three victories in 2015 and will look to end the year in style when he takes on the 24-year-old Galvan.

With new promoter, Aikens looks for big win on Friday night to springboard into high profile fights in 2016

Philadelphia , PA (November 19, 2015)–This Friday night, November 20, King’s Promotions will present a big night of professional boxing at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia.

In the main event, Frank De Alba (16-1-2, 6 KO’s) of Reading, PA will take on Jesus Lule (7-14-1, 1 KO) of Fort Myers, FL in a 6-round Jr. Lightweight bout.

In the 6-round co-feature, undefeated Super Middleweight prospect, Antowyan Aikens of Atlantic City, NJ will take on fellow undefeated Tahir Thomas (4-0, 3 KO’s) of Salisbury, Maryland.

Aikens, who has had several occurrences of being inactive, will be making his first start under the King’s Promotions banner.

“This is a big opportunity to fight for King’s Promotions. I know I will keep active and in the next year I expect four to five fights and hopefully end up with a ShoBox kind of fight,” said 26 year-old Aikens.

“I look forward to a good fight on Friday as it will be my first in Philadelphia.”

Frank De Alba not looking past Jesus Lule this Friday, November 20th at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia

Philadelphia , PA (November 17, 2015)–With a big fight staring him in the face, Frank De Alba is not looking past Jesus Lule This Friday night, November 20 as King’s Promotions will present a big night of professional boxing at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia.

De Alba of Reading, PA has a record of 16-1-2 with six knockouts and has won 14 straight bouts and is unbeaten in his last 16.

Lule of Fort Myers, Florida has a record of 7-14-1 with 1 knockout.

“Everything is great. My weight is good and I am just waiting for Friday,”said De Alba.

“I know Lule has fought a lot of prospects and contenders. He is a tough Mexican and I won’t underestimate him. I trained for this fight 100% as I look at him like I would s if he was an undefeated fighter.”

That line of thinking will come in handy as with a win, De Alba is penciled in to fight undefeated prospect Omar Douglas on December 29th.

De Alba and Douglas were scheduled to fight on August 1st, but a last second medical issue arose for De Alba and the fight had to be postponed.

“I am a positive guy, but I was disappointed. I lost a big opportunity, but I felt that the fight was not meant to be on that date I guess. I just stayed positive and got right back in the gym as soon as possible. If everything goes well, then December 29 is the date that me and Omar will fight. I am certainly not looking past Friday. I just want everyone to come out and see a great fight on Friday.”
