Washington, DC (May 13, 2019)- Alantez Fox will take on Nick Brinson in an eight-round super middleweight clash in the headlined bout this Saturday night at The Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, DC.

The card will be the 2nd pro fight card promoted by Tricky Promotions in association with DCFIGHTNIGHT.

Fox of Upper Marlboro, Maryland has a record of 24-1-1 with 11 knockouts.

The 27 year-old Fox is a nine-year veteran who has wins over Zain Shah (5-1), Patrick Day (9-0-1), Patrick Valenzuela Jr. (17-3), Ronald Montes (17-3), Ronald McNeil (10-2).

Fox lost to two-division and current WBO Middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade. In his last bout, Fox won an eight-round unanimous decision over former world title challenger Elvin Ayala on September 22nd in Bowie, Maryland.

Brinson of Geneva, New York has a record of 19-4-2 with nine knockouts.

The 31 year-old Brinson is an eleven year-pro who has faced quality opposition.

Brinson has wins over Markus Williams (2-0 & 10-2) & Jorge Melendez (26-2-1)

Brinson has won two in a row, and is coming off a 6th round stoppage over Jaime Barboza on June 9th in Verona, New York.

In the 10-round co-feature, Tiara Brown (7-0) of Washington, D.C will take on Angel Gladney (10-14-1, 5 KOs) of South Carolina.

Brown was recently named Washington, D.C. Police Officer of the year.

Brown, who has been a fixture in the beltway area, has built up a great reputation, and is coming off a 4th round stoppage over Dahiana Santana on December 8th in Bowie, Maryland.

Atlantic City, NJ (July 14, 2017)–Welterweight contender, Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna will take on George Sosa for the WBC Silver Latino Welterweight championship in the ten-round main event that will headline a great night of championship boxing on Saturday, August 19th at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.

The show is expected to be the 9th sold-out show at the Claridge promoted by Rising Promotions.

“Rising Promotions is looking forward to ending the Summer with another great show here at the Claridge. We have a good line up on the card so we are hoping for a packed house, and we are looking forward to staging our first championship bout,” said Debbie LaManna of Rising Promotions.

The championship bout is the first major sanctioning body championship bout in Atlantic City in almost three years. (Kovalev vs Hopkins, November 8, 2014).

LaManna will be looking to win his first belt in the welterweight division. A win will propel him into the rankings as he looks for a high profile bout later this year.

The 25 year-old LaManna has a record of 23-2 with nine knockouts, and he is currently riding a two fight win streak, and is undefeated in 2017.

The six-year professional is 4-1 as a Welterweight and has credible wins over Kendal Mena, and Ayi Bruce as well as his last two victories, which have come over Eduardo Flores and Carlos Winston Velasquez, who stepped into the ring with 52 and 54 fights under their belt.

LaManna dropped a ten-round unanimous decision to undefeated Dusty Hernandez-Harrison (30-0-1 16 KO’s) on September 15th, 2016 in a very high intense battle that was contested for the USBA Title. The LaManna/Harrison fight is a candidate for Fight of the Year for local Philadelphia boxing award “Briscoe Award”

This will be LaManna’s 6th fight at The Claridge, and his 16th fight in Atlantic City.

Like LaManna, Sosa is a six-year professional, and is coming off a grueling eight-round unanimous decision defeat to Anthony Young on June 10th at The Claridge.

Mayfield of Freehold, New Jersey has a record of 26-10-2 with 19 knockouts. At a young 45 years-old, Mayfield is making the 3rd start since taking an eight-year hiatus from the sport.

In 1997, Mayfield captured the IBF Cruiserweight title with a 12-round unanimous decision over Uriah Grant. He made one defense of the crown with an 11th round stoppage over previously undefeated Terry Dunston (17-0).

Over his 23 year-career, Mayfield has racked up wins over Rayco Saunders (Twice), Okello Peter (11-2), Gary Wilcox (15-2-1), Ernest Mateen (23-5-1), Ismael Gneco (3-0) & Lew Chester (1-0).

Mayfield is coming off a sixth-round stoppage over Anthony Caputo Smith on November 12, 2016 at The Claridge.

Capers of Hawley, PA has a deceiving record of 7-10-2.

Fort Washington, MD (February 6, 2017)- Undefeated junior welterweight prospect, Mykal “The Professor” Fox will take on hard-punching Tre’Sean Wiggins in the eight-round main event of a big night of boxing on This Saturday night, February 11th at the Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, Maryland.

The show is promoted by King’s Promotions.

Fox, 21 years old of Forestville, Maryland is coming off a good 2016, where he went 4-0 and became a main event fight in the Maryland area.

The 3-year pro is coming off a 7th round stoppage over Juan Rodriguez on November 5th in the same venue.

Fox is wrapping up training camp in the D.C. area, and he believes that Wiggins could be the toughest test of his young professional career.

“Training camp has been great. It has been another good camp,” said Fox.

“Wiggins is a dangerous opponent. I have fought opponents that may have had more experience, but Wiggins has a lot of power in both hands. He is left handed like I am.”

Fox has been progressing up the ladder, and now he is considered to be on some prospects lists on the East Coast. A win over the heavy handed Wiggins would solidify his status as 2017 progresses.

“I think fighting him is the next step in my progression. I wanted to be tested, and Wiggins is a guy who has power. I am not looking to take those punches, bit if I do, I will be ready for what he has.”

Fox doesn’t have to look far for motivation, as he brother, talented middleweight Alantez Fox has a bout on February 25th for the NABF title, and the two train side by side with each other under the guidance of their trainer, who also happens to be their father, Troy Fox,

“We are both very motivated. We are there for each other. We feed off each other in the gym and it is a great motivator to train next to him every day.”

A win over Wiggins will keep Fox moving towards his short term goal for 2017.

“I am looking to get in a few more eight-round bouts, and then be able to get some some television bouts. As long as I continue to stay busy, I see that happening.”

Wiggins of Newbergh, New York has a record of 7-2 with six knockouts.

The 26 year-old southpaw scored knockouts in his first three bouts by knockout which was highlighted by a 1st round destruction of current WBA Super Featherweight world champion Jason Sosa.

ATLANTIC CITY (Jan.18, 2017) — Undefeated super bantamweight Malik Jackson has been added to the non-televised undercard this Friday night, Jan. 20 at Ballys Atlantic City Hotel & Casino against Christian Foster in a bout scheduled for 4-rounds that will precede a tremendous tripleheader that will be televised live on ShoBox: The New Generation card on SHOWTIME®.

In the 12-round main event, undefeated WBA No. 3-ranked super bantamweight Adam Lopez (16-0-1, 8 KOs) will face the WBA’s No. 4-ranked Danny Roman (20-2-1, 7 KOs) in a title elimination bout.

In the co-feature, undefeated super middleweight Ronald Ellis (13-0-1, 1 NC, 10 KOs) will face off with Christopher Brooker (11-2, 5 KOs) in an eight-round 168-pound matchup of ShoBox veterans.

In another eight-round featured bout, former national amateur champion Kenneth Sims Jr. (10-0, 3 KOs) and Emmanuel Robles (15-1-1, 5 KOs) will clash in a matchup of promising, super lightweights making their ShoBox debuts.

Jackson of Washington, D.C turned professional on September 30th with a 1st rouns stoppage over Javonta Cherry in Washington, D.C.

Jackson, 22 years old, started boxing at age 9 and had a long amateur career that spanned 120 fights.

He describes his style as a boxer-puncher.

“My training went well for this fight. I was added to the card at the last minute, but I was already in shape,” said Jackson.

In Foster, he is facing a bit of an unknown quantity, but has been stopped inside of two-rounds in both of his fights.

“I don’t know much about Foster, but with all my amateur experience, I can adapt. I have fought internationally , so I have seen all kinds of styles.”

With this fight being on the undercard of a nationally televised event, Jackson is ready to show the fans in attendance that he is a fighter to be reckoned with.

“With an opportunity like this, I am ready to steal the show. I know it is only a 4-round bout, but I will impress.”

Jackson has been even more motivated as fellow beltway boxer Gervonta Davis captured the IBF Junior Lightweight on Saturday night. Jackson has shared the ring with Davis and he feels that he can reach the heights of boxing as well.

“I fought and fought with Gervonta. By seeing him win a title, it shows it can be done, and I am motivated to follow suit. But that will start on Friday as I will have an impressive outing.”
