Split-T Management’s “Mighty” Joe Jones in action Tonight against Richard Rivera in Springfield, Mass.

NEW YORK (December 13, 2019)- Tonight at the Massmutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, Split-T Management cruiserweight “Mighty” Joe Jones takes on Richard Rivera in the main event of a Star Boxing show.

Jones of Leesburg, Virginia has a record of 11-1 with eight knockouts, and the 24 year-old is riding a two fight win streak.

Jones is a six-year professional, who has a 1st round stoppage over previously undefeated Montez Brown (8-0). In his last bout, Jones won a unanimous decision over Twon Smith on June 29th in Laurel, Maryland.

Rivera of Hartford has a record of 15-0 with 12 knockouts. The 29 year-old, has been on a roll since turning professional in 2017 with notable wins over Kevin Cobbs (10-2), Jaime Solorio (12-3-2) and Brian Howard (14-2). Rivera is coming off a 1st round stoppage over Juan Zapata on November 1st in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Jones was 197 lbs. at Thursday’s weigh-in. Rivera was 191.5.

The fight can be seen live in the New England area on NESN at 9 PM ET or outside the New England region on FITE.TV PPV .

Also tonight, Split-T Management’s Marquis Moore battles Jeff Terrazas in Golden, Colorado in a super middleweight bout.

Moore of Colorado Springs is 9-0 with five knockouts.

The 28 year-old Moore was one of the top amateur boxers in the country as he compiled a record of 140-15, highlighted by representing Team USA in many international events including winning the World National Golden Gloves as well as winning the gold medal in numerous national championships including the 2012 Armed Forces Championships, 2013 and 2014 National Golden Gloves, 2015 National PAL and US Olympic Trials Qualifiers.

NEW YORK (JULY 27, 2018)–Four highly regarded and undefeated prospects from Boxing’s deepest management stable, David McWater’s Split-T Management will be in action on Saturday night at The Davis Arena in Louisville, Kentucky.

Janelson Bocachica (10-0, 7 KOs) of Detroit, Michigan battles Noel Esqueda (8-5-2, 6 KOs) of Wichita, Kansas in a six-round welterweight bout.

Bocachica, just 19 years-old continues his rapid ascent as he will be making his 3rd start of 2018.

Joshua Temple (6-0, 5 KOs) of St. Louis, Missouri battles Alexander Brunson (2-1, 1 KO) of Tallahassee, Florida in a six-round cruierweight bout.

Temple, 25 years-old is a 6’4″ prospect who will be making his 2nd appearance of the year, and is coming off two consecutive wins over undefeated opponents.

Isaiah Steen (10-0, 8 KOs) of Cleveland, Ohio battles Cameron Burroughs (4-4, 3 KOs) of Friendswood, Texas in a super middleweight bout.

Steen, who is the half-brother of fellow undefeated prospect and 2016 U.S, Olympian, (and fellow Split-T Management fighter) Charles Conwell. Steen is just 21 years-old and, he will be making his 2018 debut.

Marquis Moore (7-0, 4 KOs) of Denver, Colorado will take on 30-fight veteran Demetrius Walker in a six-round super middleweight bout.

Moore will be making his 2nd appearance of 2018, and is coming off a unanimous decision win over Troy Artis on May 18th.

Super Middleweight Marquis Moore remains undefeated with unanimous decision over Troy Artis in Queens, New York

New York, NY (May 19, 2018)-Super Middleweight prospect Marquis Moore remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Troy Artis at The Amazura Concert Hall in the Jamaica section of Queens, New York.

Moore used quick combinations and focused on the body to control the action to cruise home with the victory, and he remained perfect at 7-0.

Moore is managed by Split-T Management.

“I got some good work in and I take my hat off to Troy Artis because he came to fight. I’m already looking forward to get back in the gym and get ready for my next fight,” said Moore.

Marquis Moore takes on Troy Artis on Friday night in Jamaica, New York

New York, NY (May 17, 2018)–Friday night at the Amazura Concert Hall in the Jamaica section of Queens, New York, undefeated super middleweight Marquis Moore will battle Troy Artis in a six-round bout.

Moore of Colorado Springs, Colorado has a record of 6-0, with four knockouts, and will be looking to impress the New York fight crowd in his 2018 debut.

The 26 year-old Moore is coming off a 1st round stoppage over Zachary Bunce on October 19th in Atlanta, Georgia.

I can’t wait for Friday night. I am all about Perfect Pains Silent Victory (PPSV),” said Moore. “What I mean is that I had to endure a lot pain during this camp but it was perfect because everything that I did, and had to go through will lead me to victory tomorrow.”

Split-T Management signs World Amateur Sensation Marquis Moore

New York, NY (April 29, 2016) – Split-T Management is happy to announce the signing of International Golden Gloves Champion and two-time National Golden Gloves champion, Marquis Moore to a managerial contract. Moore, who was honorably discharged from the army after serving our country for 3 years, will be making his professional debut as a middleweight tonight in Indianapolis, IN on a card promoted by 4 Champs Promotions.

Moore, 25, was among the United States top amateur middleweights as he compiled a record of 140-15, highlighted by representing Team USA in many international events including winning the World National Golden Gloves as well as winning the gold medal in numerous national championships including the 2012 Armed Forces Championships, 2013 and 2014 National Golden Gloves, 2015 National PAL and US Olympic Trials Qualifiers.

Moore credits his relationship and trust with Split-T Management’s CEO David McWater with his decision to sign with the company.

“I signed with Split-T Management because of David McWater. I am very excited to have someone like him to guide my professional career. We first met in 2013 when I won the National Golden Gloves and learned he has been following my career for a while and our relationship built from there.” said Moore

Moore, who was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado will continue to live there and train with world class trainer, Dickie Wood in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

I’m a gym rat as it is, but training here where the air so thin, makes me have such an advantage over my opponents because I will never got tired. I’m learning new things from Mr. Wood every day and I can’t wait to put my boxing on display for the world to see.”

Wood, who has worked with many world champions in the past, including: Stevie Johnston, Oleg Maskaev, Diego “Chico” Corrales, and Buddy McGirt, feels he has a budding superstar in his hands.

“He is a multi-talented fighter with a blend of skills, speed and power. I truly believe he can become world champion in two years!” Says Wood.

” I have worked with several world champions in the past and his talents are comparable to them at this early a stage of his career.”
