New York (February 24, 2022) – TONIGHT at Live! Casino & Hotel in Philadelphia, undefeated heavyweight Sonny Conto returns to action when he takes on Mike Marshall in a six-round bout just a few blocks from his Philadelphia residence as headlines in a bout scheduled for six-rounds.

Conto, who turned 26 on February 12th, has a record of 8-0 with seven knockouts, will be making the 6th start in his hometown, and is coming off a 3rd round stoppage over Joel Caudle on November 18th in the same Live! Casino ring.

Conto, who is managed by Split-T Management, is promoted by Top Rank.

Marshall of Danbury, Connecticut is 6-2-1 with four knockouts. The 33 year-old Marshall has a win over Justin Rolfe (4-1-1). The seven year-pro is coming off a defeat to Victor Faust on October 9, 2021 in Las Vegas.

Conto weighed 226.1 lbs. Marshall was 248.8 lbs.

Super lightweights Daiyaan Butt (10-1, 5KO’s) of Philadelphia, PA and Bryce Mills (7-1, 4KO’s) of Liverpool, NY will battle six rounds where Butt will look to extend his three fight winning streak.

Another highlight on the card is lightweight Jordon Murphy (1-0, 1KO) of Bensalem, PA will be making his second professional appearance competing in a four round bout.

The card will also feature super featherweight Frankie Trader (13-2-1, 3KO’s) of Philadelphia, PA competing in a six round contest. Super lightweights Christopher Burgos (3-4-1, 1KO) of Philadelphia, PA will battle Phillip Davis (2-5-1) in a six round bout. Burgos won his last fight in an all-out war in a rematch against Gerardo Martinez and will look to build on that win to gain some momentum.

Rounding out the card will be Gerardo Martinez (5-2, 1KO) of Coatesville, PA going against Seifullah Jihad Wise (4-8, 1KO) of Philadelphia, PA in a six round bout.

Fort Washington, Maryland (November 4, 2016)–A pair of Uudefeated junior welterweight’s collide in a top undercard as Kent Cruz (11-0, 6 KO’s) takes on Darius Ervin (3-0) as part of a big night of boxing Saturday night at the Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, Maryland.

The card which is promoted by King’s Promotions, will feature undefeated junior welterweight Mykal Fox battling Juan Rodriguez in the eight-round main event.

The 23 year-old Cruz is coming off his biggest win to date, when he scored 8 round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Rickey Edwards on September 3rd in San Antonio.

The St. Louis native is ready for another win over an undefeated opponent.

“Camp went great. I had great sparring and just good training for this bout,” said Cruz.”I know Ervin is tall and rangy and likes to work from the outside.”

Cruz started to generate a little buzz after his win over Edwards and he became a name on some prospect lists.

“I got good feedback after that win. It was a great win to showcase my skills, and coming back so quick is good as I need to stay busy.”

Even though it was an impressive performance in the NBC Sports Network televised fight, Cruz believes he could have been even better against Edwards.

“I felt I could have stopped him. What I learned in that fight is when I get a fighter hurt and I need to finish him. I should have worked the body more and I could have stopped him.”

With a win on Saturday night, Cruz sees himself making a big move in 2017.

“I am hoping for big things next year. I am looking to get in the mix for a regional title, which will get me ranked and just stay active.”

Ervin, who is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina but now calls Los Angeles home is not in the least awed by Cruz’s big win over Edwards.

“My camp went well. I took this fight on short notice, but that isn’t a big deal. We stay ready, so we don’t have to get ready. Cruz is a decent fighter, but no disrespect, I do not feel he is on my level. I just focus on what I have to do in there and not focus on him. I am on weight and ready to go,”said Ervin.

Ervin is a strong minded fighter, who knows what a win can do for him.

“I am self motivated. He fought a good fighter in his last fight,, but he didn’t fight me. He doesn’t have my skills. Signing with King’s Promotions has given me motivation and I thank them for the opportunity. I don’t care what anybodies record is, because I am in the gum everyday and I stay in shape. Weather I have a fight or not, I am always fine tuning and staying in shape. I am the King and I am ready to defend my throne. I just know I am going to bring my best and I hope he brings his.”

Fort Washington, Maryland (October, 28, 2016)–Undefeated junior welterweight prospect
Mykal “The Professor” Fox is ready for his next challenge against veteran Juan Rodriguez in an eight-round bout that will headline eight-bout on Saturday, November 5th at the Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, Maryland.

The card is promoted by King’s Promotions.

Fox of Forestville, Maryland has a record of 11-0 with three knockouts and this will be his fourth bout of 2016.

The 20 year-old Fox turned professional in 2014 and has been kept busy as this will be his 12th contest in 29 months.

In his last bout, Fox stopped Somner Martin in three rounds on August 19th in Washington, DC.

Fox has been working hard in camp with his father/trainer Troy.

“Camp is winding down, and it has been real good. Coming off my last win, I got right back in camp. I took a week off and I all that I had to do was get in fight shape,” said Fox.

When trying to scout Rodriguez, Fox was not able to get much information, but he will be ready for what the veteran has to offer.

“I could not find anything on him. I just have to go in there and be the best of me.”

At just 21 years-old (Turned 21 today) Fox continues to mature physically, and the improvement is evident in his performances.

“As long as I learn something from every fight, I am happy. My power is coming around and I would not consider myself a knockout puncher, but it’s getting better. People forget, I turned pro at age 18, and now I think my power has become respectable.”

This being his 12th fight and most likely last of 2016, Fox sees 2017 as a moving year in his career.

“In 2017 I am looking for big things. I just want to keep winning and get some television time, but I know for that to happen, I must get past Rodriguez on November 5th. Just remember that main event Myke is coming to a boxing ring near you.”

Rodriguez of Haymarket, Virginia has a record of 6-5-1 with five wins coming via stoppage.

The 26 year-old Rodriguez is an eight year professional and he won his first four fights. He has a fifth round stoppage win over previously undefeated Nathaniel Rivas (5-0).

Fox will be Rodriguez’ fourth undefeated opponent. Rodriguez is coming off a six-round unanimous decision defeat to Anthony Young (11-2) on April 29th in Atlantic City.
