Nahir Albright – Jeremy Hill Highlights RDR Promotions Card on Friday, July 23rd at The 2300 Arena

PHILADELPHIA (June 25, 2021)-Rising Lightweight Nahir Albright will take on Jeremy Hill In the main event on Friday night, July 23rd, which will kick off “Crossroads” weekend at the 2300 Arena.

The card will be the first of back-to-back shows as RDR Promotions will be back the very next night with another action packed show that will also feature some of the best talent in the county.

Albright of Sicklerville, New Jersey has a record of 12-1 with six knockouts.

The 25 year-old Albright has been streaking as he stopped his last four opponents which includes early wins over Dante Cox (6-1) and his fight when he stopped former world title challenger Cosme Rivera in eight-rounds on May 28th in Rivera’s home country of Mexico. Albright also has wins over Danny Murray (1-0), Glenford Nickey (4-1-1) and Roy McGill (6-1-1).

Hill of New Orleans has a record of 15-1 with 10 knockouts.

Hiil, 28 years-old is a three-year pro who has wins over Leshawn Alcoks (1-0), Xavier Wilson (11-1-1) and Travis Castellon (16-3-1). Hill is coming off of a fourth round stoppage over Deivi Julio on May 15th in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Also taking part in an eight-round bout will be Derrick Whitley Jr. taking on an opponent to be named in a welterweight bout.

Whitley of Springfield, MA is 6-1-1 and is a four-year professional. He is coming off a no-contest against Jermaine Corley, as Whitley suffered a cut before the fourth round.

Donald “No Love” Smith (12-1, 8 KOs) of Philadelphia will take on an opponent to be named in a eight-round featherweight bout.

In a six-round super bantamweight bout, Romuel Cruz (5-0-1, 2 KOs) of Philadelphia takes on Roberto Pucheta (10-18-2, 6 KOs) of Jalisco, Mexico.

In a six-round heavyweight crowd pleasing match, Garrett Wilson (18-17-1, 8 KOs) of Philadelphia fights Joel Caudle (8-5-2, 5 KOs) of Raleigh, NC.

In four-round Bouts:

Raekwon Butler (2-0, 2 KOs) of Brooklyn, NY takes on Dieumerci Nzau (11-14, 8 KOs) of Silver Spring, MD in a welterweight contest.

RDR Promotions June 25th Fight Card moved to Friday, July 23rd

PHILADELPHIA (June 16, 2021)-The recently announced June 25th fight RDR Promotions fight card at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia will be moved to Friday July 23rd. This will set p one of the biggest weekend in recent Philadelphia boxing history as RDR Promotions will present “Crossroads” fight weekend with two huge nights of boxing on Friday, July 23rd and Saturday, July 24th (Card to be announced this week).

Tickets Bought from Fighters, must be returned to the Point of Purchase for a refund. Those tickets WILL NOT be honored on July 23rd; Tickets Bought at the 2300 Arena WILL BE honored.

In the main event on July 23rd, will be a “cant miss” eight-round lightweight bout between Nahir Albright and Jeremy Hill.

Joey Dawejko Stops Joe Jones in 1st Round in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (APRIL 8, 2021)–This past Saturday night, popular heavyweight Joey Dawejko knocked out Joe Jones in the opening round of their scheduled eight-round heavyweight bout at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The bout headlined a card promoted by RDR Promotions.

Dawejko was dominant in dropping Jones twice, with the final punch coming from a big left hook, and the fight was halted at 2:50.

Dawejko of Philadelphia improved his record to 21-8-4 with 12 knockouts. Jones falls to 11-4.

In the co-feature, surging lightweight Nahir Albright notched his third consecutive stoppage victory by stopping Dante Cox in round three of their scheduled six-round bout.

Albright dropped Cox twice in round two, and finished him off at 2:13 of the third frame.

Albright of Sicklerville, NJ is now 11-1 with five knockouts. Cox of Glen Burnie, MD is 6-2.

Former National Golden Gloves champion Mike Hilton shrugged off a knockdown to win a six-round unanimous decision over Twon Smith in a cruiserweight fight.

Smith put Hilton down for a flash knockdown in round three from a left. That was sandwiched around Hilton outboxing Smith, and Hilton took all three cards by 58-55 scores.

Hilton of Trenton, NJ is 11-0. Smith falls to 3-5.

Afunwa King scored a mild upset by taking a six-round majority decision over previously undefeated Benny Sinakin in a light heavyweight bout.

King took two cards by 58-56 tallies, while a third card read even at 57-57.

King is now 3-1. Sinakin of Philadelphia is 6-1.

Matthew Gonzalez of Brooklyn, New York remained undefeated by taking out Luis Eduardo Florez in round five of a scheduled six-round junior welterweight bout.

The time of the stoppage was 2:13 for Gonzalez, who is now 12-0 with eight knockouts. Florez is now 25-19.

Rasheen Brown stopped late-replacement Christopher Nelson in round three of their four-round featherweight fight.

Brown dominated with body shots, and the fight was stopped at 1:50 of round three. A West Philadelphia native, Brown is 7-0 with four knockouts. Nelson is 3-18.

Tahmir Smalls remained undefeated by winning a four-round unanimous decision over Andres Abarca in a welterweight bout.

Scores were 40-34 twice and 39-35 for Smalls, who is now 3-0. Abarca,is 2-4.

Jahdon Ervin made a successful pro debut by taking a four-round unanimous decision over Kareem Gladney in a middleweight fight.

Ervin of St. Clair, PA is 1-0. Gladney is 0-4.

Philadelphia, PA (February 24, 2021) – Rising junior welterweight prospect Shinard Bunch will take on tough veteran Cameron Krael in the eight-round main event of a RDR Promotions card on Saturday, March 6th at The Sportsplex in Feasterville, Pa.

The bout will headline a six-bout card.

Bunch, 21 of Trenton, New Jersey has a record of 13-1 with 12 knockouts. The two year professional has kept an ambitious scheduled as he will be fighting for the 14th time in 22 months, and this will already be his 4th fight of 2021.

Bunch is coming off a 1st round stoppage over Ariel Vazquez on February 12th in Orlando, Florida.

Kreal of Las Vegas, has a deceiving record of 17-17-3 with four knockouts.

The 27 year-old Krael is a 10-year veteran and has competed and has more then held his own against top competition, which includes a staggering 17 undefeated opponents. He has taken on future world champions Maurice Hooker, Jamal James. He has defeated Guadalupe Salcido (2-0), Luis Adrian Bello (5-0), Manuel Lopez (5-0), Demond Brok (8-2), Josh Torres (14-3-2), Maurice Lee (7-0), Jose Miguel Borrego (14-1) and Ravshan Hudaynazarov.

He is coming losing to super-prospect Elvis Rodríguez on October 9th in Las Vegas.

Foster Decisions Smith in Clash of Undefeated Featherweights in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA (February 8, 2021) – This past Saturday, William Foster III came into Philadelphia and won a six-round unanimous decision over Donald Smith, in battle of undefeated featherweights.

The bout topped a five-bout RDR Promotions card at the 2300 Arena.

The show was streamed live on FITE.TV, and still can be purchased on-demand for $9.99

Foster did well by taking the fight on the inside and grind out the rounds. Smith did well when he was able to create space, but Foster controlled the geography of the contest, and won by scores of 60-54 and 59-55 twice.

Foster of New Haven, Connecticut raised his perfect ledger to 12-0. Smith of Philadelphia is now 10-1.

Nahir Albright needed just 54 seconds to dispose of veteran Darnell Jiles Jr. in a scheduled eight-round lightweight bout.

In the opening seconds of the bout, Albright came out and landed a hard combination that stunned Jiles and forced a standing eight-count by referee Benjy Esteves. Albright continued his furious assault as he buckled Jiles and the fight was stopped.

Rashiem Jefferson Jr. was impressive in controlling the action to gain a four-round unanimous decision over upset-specialist James Early in a featherweight contest.

Sharif Rahman dropped Gladimir Jacinto three-times en-route to a third-round stoppage in their scheduled four-round junior middleweight contest.

Rahman dropped Jacinto once in round two, and two more times in round three to force the stoppage upon the final knockdown.

Rahman of Baltimore, Md. is now 4-0 with three knockouts. Jacinto of Fresno, Ca. is 0-3.

New Jersey Golden Gloves champion Derrick Starling was successful in his pro debut as he pounded out a four-round unanimous decision over Jose Nunez in a heavyweight bout.

Starling of Philadelphia won by scores of 40-36 twice and 39-37, and is now 1-0. Nunez of Reading, PA is 0-2.
