PHILADELPHIA (October 21, 2021)–A can’t miss welterweight showdown will headline RDR Promotions big night of boxing on Saturday, November 27th at The 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

Undefeated Philadelphia based welterweight’s Paul Kroll and Mark Dawson Jr. will fight in an eight-round bout in what will be one of the most anticipated fights featuring Philadelphia fighters in a while.

Kroll, who was a 2016 United States Olympic alternate, has a record of 8-0 with six knockouts. Kroll is a three-year professional, has a win over highly regarded Shinard Bunch (2-0) and is coming off a 10-round unanimous decision over Lucas Santamaria on October 3, 2020 in Los Angeles.

Dawson is 9-0-1 with three knockouts. The 24 year-old Dawson is coming off his career best victory when he won an eight-round unanimous decision over Ivan Pandzic (13-0-1) on July 24th at the 2300 Arena,

In the eight-round co-feature, former two-time world title challenger, Jesse Hart will be in action against veteran Ernest Amuzu in a super middleweight contest.

Hart of Philadelphia has a record of 27-3 with 21 knockouts. The 32 year-old has twice battled for the super middleweight championship of the world only to fall just short to Gilberto Ramirez in fights that were decided by just a couple of points.

After a stellar amateur career, Hart turned professional on June 9, 2012 with a 1st round stoppage of Manuel Eastman in Las Vegas. That led to Hart winning his first 22 fights (20 by knockout), with victories over Tyrell Hendrix (10-2-2), Samuel Clarkson (10-2), Roberto Acevedo (8-2), Mike Jimenez (17-0), Andrew Hernandez (16-4-1), Alan Campa (16-2). Hart also has victories over Demond Nicholson (18-2), Mike Gavronski (24-2-1) and Sullivan Barrera (22-2). Hart is coming off an eight-round unanimous decision over Mike Guy on September 17th at the 2300 Arena.

Amuzu of Prichard, Alabama, has a record of 26-5 with 22 knockouts.

Amuzu, 38, is an 11-year veteran and is coming off a unanimous decision over Zacariah Kelly on June 27, 2020 in Plant City, Florida.

In an eight-round bout, Istvan Bernath (7-0, 5 KOs) of Miami is taking on an opponent to be named in heavyweight bout.

NEWARK, N.J. (July 27, 2021) – Rising unbeaten heavyweight Michael Coffie will face Jonathan Rice in the main event of FOX PBC Fight Night and on FOX Deportes, this Saturday, July 31 from Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Coffie was originally scheduled to face former title challenger Gerald Washington, who was forced to withdraw after a positive COVID-19 test.

The FOX broadcast begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and will also see James Martin battle welterweight prospect and New Jersey-native Vito Mielnicki Jr. in an eight-round rematch in the co-main event and unbeaten prospect Joey Spencer take on Dan Karpency in an eight-round showdown.

At 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT following the FOX broadcast will be FS1 PBC Fight Night topped by veteran contender and Olympic bronze medalist Andre Dirrell competing for the second time at light heavyweight as he faces Philadelphia’s Christopher Brooker in a 10-round fight. The FS1 telecast also features unbeaten featherweight prospect Maliek Montgomery dueling Ángel Contreras in a 10-round attraction and top welterweight prospect Paul Kroll squaring off against Justin DeLoach in a 10-round showdown.

A Marine Corps veteran who picked up boxing after returning from overseas, Coffie (12-0, 9 KOs) quickly impressed in amateur tournaments enough to earn sparring assignments with Deontay Wilder and Adam Kownacki. The 35-year-old was born in the Bronx, but now trains in Orlando, Florida. Coffie broke through in 2020 by stopping previously unbeaten Luis Pena in the fifth round of their August matchup before earning a TKO over Joey Abell in November. Coffie added a highlight-reel knockout over previously unbeaten Darmani Rock in January of this year.

Born in South Carolina and now fighting out of Los Angeles, Rice (13-6-1, 9 KOs) won six of seven fights from 2018 through 2019. The 34-year-old will look to bounce back from a pair of losses in 2020 against unbeatens Efe Ajagba and Demsey McKean. In a pro career that dates back to 2014, the blemishes on Rice’s records have all come against previously unbeaten fighters as he looks to offer a stiff test to the so far undefeated Coffie.

An accomplished veteran contender in the 168-pound division, Dirrell (34-2-1, 25 KOs) returns to the ring for the second time at light heavyweight after a successful debut in December 2021 in which he knocked out Juan Ubaldo Cabrera in round five. The Flint, Michigan native and brother of two-time champion Anthony, Dirrell won a bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics and lost narrow decisions in world title fights against Carl Froch and James DeGale. Dirrell will be opposed by the 30-year-old Philadelphia-native Brooker (16-7, 6 KOs), who has scored a pair of victories so far in 2021. Prior to those two triumphs, Brooker’s previous two outings saw him drop a June 2019 contest to Michael Seals and defeat Lanell Bellows in September 2018.

The 25-year-old Montgomery (10-0, 10 KOs) turned pro in 2017 after an impressive amateur career that included two national Golden Gloves titles and victories over recognizable names such as Edgar Berlanga, Keeshawn Williams and Joseph Adorno, to name a few. The Macon, Georgia born fighter has stopped all 10 of his opponents inside of the distance in his pro career to date. He will face the 27-year-old Contreras (10-4-2, 6 KOs), who most recently fought unbeaten prospect Jalan Walker to a draw in April. The Monterrey, Mexico native’s previous outing had seen him drop a narrow split-decision against super bantamweight contender Ramon Cardenas in February.

A decorated U.S. amateur from the fighter-rich city of Philadelphia, Kroll (8-0, 6 KOs) turned pro in August 2018 with a first-round stoppage of DeAngelo Alcorn. The 26-year-old ended his first four fights inside of two rounds before going the distance and beating then unbeaten Shinard Bunch in August 2019. Most recently, Kroll’s 2020 campaign saw him score a TKO victory over Marcel Rivers in January and a unanimous decision over Luke Santamaria on FS1 in October. He will be opposed by DeLoach (19-5, 10 KOs), who will look to return to the win column after dropping his last contest to unbeaten welterweight Eimantas Stanionis in November. The 27-year-old from Augusta, Georgia put together an impressive run in 2017, defeating three-straight unbeaten fighters in Dillon Cook, Junior Castillo and Domonique Dolton, before knocking out Christopher Pearson in 2017.

Philadelphia, PA (June 24, 2019)–Three-time Olympian, Anvar Yunusov remained perfect by stopping Angel Luna in the 2nd round of their scheduled eight-round junior lightweight bout.

The fight headlined an eight-bout card at The 2300 Arena and was promoted by King’s Promotions in association with Titans Boxing Promotions.

Yunosov dropped Luna with a right hook in round one. That was followed by a flurry of punches that Luna barely survived. It didn’t take long, as in round two, Yunusov landed a perfect straight left that deposited Luna on his back. Yunusov jumped on Luna, and the bout was stopped at 56 seconds.

Yunusov of Philadelphia via Tajakistan is now 8-0 with four knockouts.

Robert Simms scored an upset victory as he handed Colby Madison his 1st loss by pounding out a eight-round unanimous decision in a heavyweight bout.

Madison fought through a badly swollen left eye that occurred in round five. Simms had a bad cut over his right eye, but was able to come through by scores of 80-72 twice and 79-73.

Simms of Saginaw, Michigan is now 9-3. Madison of Owings Mills, Maryland is 8-1-2.

Rasheen Brown stopped debuting Lionell Tidwell in the 2nd round of their scheduled four-round super bantamweight fight.

Brown landed a perfect straight left that sent Tidwell down and the bout was stopped at 1:18 of round two.

Brown of Philadelphia is 4-0 with one knockout.

2016 U.S. Olympian Paul Kroll kept his perfect mark in-tact as he scored a memorable 1st round stoppage over Hector Mercado in a scheduled six-round welterweight bout.

Kroll landed a right to the head, that sent Mercado down on his leg. Mercado’s right leg was dangling off of his ankle, and the bout was stopped at 1:23.

Kroll of Philadelphia is 4-0 with four knockouts. Mercado is 3-11.

Kashon Hutchinson won a six-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated James Martin in a welterweight bout.

Hutchinson scored a flash knockdown in the opening frame, and that proved to be distance as he took all cards 57-56.

Hutchinson of Reading, PA is 5-5. Martin of Philadelphia is 4-1.

Jonathan Torres won a four-round unanimous decision over Hugo Rodriguez in a bantamweight contest.

Torres of Bethlehem, PA dropped Rodriguez in round four, and cruised to the victory by 40-35 scores.

Torres is 5-0. Rodriguez of Mexico is 0-5.

Kevin Asmat stopped Weusi Johnson in round three of their scheduled four round junior lightweight bout.

Asmat dropped Johnson in round’s one and two, and Johnson was stopped on his feet at 2:44 of round three.

Asmat of North Bergen, NJ is 6-2 with five knockouts. Johnson of Wilmington, Delaware is 3-13-1.

Khainell Wheeler registered his 2nd consecutive 1st round stoppage as he stopped Tywaski Hendrix in their scheduled four-round super middleweight fight.

Wheeler dropped Hendrix twice and the fight was stopped immedately upon the 2nd knockdown at 2:45.

Wheeler of Bethlehem, PA is 2-0 with two knockouts. Hendrix of Little Rock, Arkansas was making his pro debut.

Yunosuv, who represented Tajikistan in the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics, now resides in Philadelphia, and has record of 7-0 with three knockouts.

The 32 year-old Yunusov is coming off a eight-round unanimous decision over Carlos Colon (5-1) on March 29th in Philadelphia. Yunusov also has a 4th round stoppage over former-world title challenger Mike Oliver.

Luna of Yamasa, Dominican Republic has a record of 11-5-1 with six knockouts.

Luna, 29, is an eight-yea professional has a win over previously undefeated Jose Lopez (15-0-1). Luna was stopped in his bout by Jean Carlos Rivera on July 14, 2018 in New Orleans.

In an eight-round co-feature, returning junior welterweight Milton Santiago Jr. takes on Ruben Lopez.

Santiago of of Philadelphia has a record of 17-0 with three knockouts. Santiago, now 22 years-old, turned professional at the age of 17 after receiving a special waiver to turn pro.

Santiago had an amateur record of 184-12 ,and won a staggering 59 tournaments.

Santiago is coming off a six-round unanimous decision over Jorge Luis Munguia on May 11, 2018 at The 2300 Arena.

Lopez Santa Fe, Argentina has a record of 12-14-4 with five knockouts.

The 36 year-old is an eight-year professional.

Philadelphia, PA (May 11, 2019)–Rising super middleweight contender Kalvin Henderson dropped Antowyan Aikens five-times in less than three rounds, and stopped Aikens in the 3rd frame of their scheduled eight-round super middleweight bout that headlined an eight-bout card at 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The card, which was the inaugural event that was streamed by Warfare Sports, was promoted by King’s Promotions and Titans Boxing Promotions.

Henderson dropped Aikens with a jab in round two. That opened up Aikens for an Henderson onsluaught, as the fighter nicknamed “Hot Sauce” put AIkens down two more times before the 2nd round could end. Already on shaky legs, it was another jab that sent The Atlantic City native down for a fourth time. Henderson wasted no time in disposing of Aikens, as he ended things with a hard right hand for the fifth and final knockdown at 2:14.

Henderson of Fayetville, Arkansas won his 2nd bout at The 2300 Arena, and is now 12-0 with eight knockouts. Aikens of Atlantic City is now 13-7-1.

In the co-feature, Brandon Robinson survived a 1st round knockdown to comeback and take an eight-round split decision over DeVaun Lee in a super middleweight contest.

Lee landed an overhand right in the opening frame that clipped the chin of Robinson, and Robinson’s knee grazed the canvas for a knockdown. He shook that off, and both fighters took turns in dictating the action. Both were able to land some good power shots, and the fight was tight they whole way while providing good action throughout.

When the scores were tallied, they read 77-74 and 77-75 for Robinson. Lee won on one card 76-75.

Robinson of Philadelphia is now 13-2. Lee of Jamaica Queens, New York is 10-6-1.

Good looking super bantamweight prospect Raeese Aleem stopped normally durable Ramiro Robles in the opening frame of their scheduled eight-round bout.

Aleem dropped Robles three times, with the punctuation shot being a left hook to the body that sent Robles down at 1:51.

Aleem of Las Vegas is 14-0 with eight knockouts.Robles of Queretaro, Mexico is 15-9-2.

Alycia Baumgardner made quick work of Gabriella Mezei, as she needed just 68 seconds of their scheduled six-round junior lightweight contest.

Baumgardner scored knockdowns on body shots on the overmatched Mezei.

Baumgardner of Fremont, Ohio is 7-1 with five knockouts. Mezei of Covasna, Romania is 9-18-5.

In non-streamed bouts:

Former U.S. Olympian Paul Kroll scored his 3rd consecutive stoppage as he took out Vincent Floyd in the opening round of a scheduled six-round welterweight bout.

Kroll hurt Floyd with a right hand that backed up Floyd to the ropes. Kroll then landed a barrage of power punches, and the bout was stopped at 2:27.

Kroll is 3-0 with three knockouts. Floyd of Philadelphia is 4-7-1.

Ryan Umberger dropped Darryl Fenton twice in en-route to a 1st round stoppage of their scheduled four-round middleweight fight.

The time of the stoppage was 1:34

Umberger of Philadelphia is 2-0 with two knockouts. Fenton of Washington, DC is 1-5-1.

Antonio DuBose won a six-round majority decision over Weusi Johnson in a featherweight bout.

DuBose of Philadelphia won by scores of 59-55, 58-56 and 57-57, and is now 11-2-1. Johnson of Wilmington, Delaware is 3-12-1.

Hector Mercado won a four-round majority decision over LaQuan Evans in a junior middleweight fight.

Mercado of Veracruz, Mexico won by scores of 40-36, 39-37 and 38-38 and is now 3-10. Evans of Philadelphia is 1-1.

Philadelphia, PA (May 9, 2019)–Alycia Baumgardner knows her time is coming soon. Tomorrow night she will take the next step to contendership when she takes on 31-fight veteran Gabriella Mezei in a six-round bout The 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

In the eight-round main event, undefeated super middleweight, Kalvin Henderson takes on Antowyan Aikens in a bout scheduled for eight-rounds.

Baumgardner (6-1, 4 KOs) of Fremont, Ohio is looked upon as a potential star in the super featherweight division, and she will look to look to improve her status in the noted fight town.

“I know that my opponent who is experienced fighter, and has been in there with some good fighters, and she is from Hungary,” said Baumgardner of Mezei.

Baumgardner was rolling along with with a perfect mark until her last bout when she dropped a disputed split decision to Christina Linardatou on March 24th.

“I have learned that a slight setback sets up a big comeback, and that is what I plan on doing starting on Friday night. I am very focused for this fight. That was a close fight that I thought I won, but I would rather have had that happen early in my career rather then later. Now I can show what I can do for women’s boxing in the 130-pound division. Women’s boxing is coming along and there are some great fights out there in the division against Mikaela Mayer and Tiara Brown. If something like a fight against Amanda Serrano or Katie Taylor comes at 135, I would take that. I am competitive athlete.”

This will be Baumgardner’s return to Philadelphia. On February 10, 2018, she won a eight-round unanimous decision over Nydia Feliciano at the same venue where she will be displaying her talents on Friday night.

“I am happy to be back in Philly. I won my (WBC International) title there, and the crowd was awesome. I just want to give a big shoutout to promoter Marshall Kauffman and my manager Nelson Lopez for this importunity.”

In the first of two, eight-round co-features, super middleweight Brandon Robinson takes on DeVaun Lee.
