Split-T Management’s Abraham Nova Back Remains Undefeated with Unanimous Decision over Richard Pumicpic

NEW YORK (August 16, 2021) -This past Saturday night, Abraham Nova remained undefeated with an eight-round unanimous decision over Richard Pumicpic in a featherweight bout at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Nova is managed by Split-T Management.

Nova, 27 years-old, controlled most of the action as he used his length to outbox the veteran Pumicpic, who was making his American debut.

Nova was making his first start in 14 months after suffering an Achilles Tendon injury.

Nova, 127.2 lbs of Albany, NY won by scores of 79-73 twice and 78-74 is now 20-0. Pumicpic, 127.1 lbs of Manila, PHL is 22-12-2.

Split-T Management’s Abraham Nova Back in Action against Richard Pumicpic in Tulsa, Oklahoma

NEW YORK (August 14, 2021) -Tonight at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma, undefeated Abraham Nova returns to the ring after nearly a 14-month absence when he takes on Richard Pumicpic in a featherweight bout scheduled for eight-rounds.

Nova is managed by Split-T Management.

Nova, 27 year-old of Albany, New York has a record of 19-0 with 14 knockouts.

The five-year professional is looking to return off his 10-round unanimous decision over Avery Sparrow (10-1) on June 25th, 2020.

Nova also has quality wins over Weusi Johnson (1-0), Martin Nicholas Matamala (9-2), Andres Zepata (7-1), Hassan Nourdine (9-2), Sulaiman Segawa (11-1), Brian Pelaez (9-2), Mario Lozano (18-2-1) and Luis Renaldo Castillo (20-3). With the wins over Castillo, Nova won the NABA Super Featherweight title.

Pumicpic of Manilla, Philippines has a record of 22-11-2 with seven knockouts.

The 31 year-old Pumicpic is a 13 year-professional who will be making his United States debut.

He has fought all over the globe, which includes stops in The Philippines, Thailand, Japan and Mexico.

Pumicpic is a former WBC Youth Silver Bantamweight champion, WBC International Super Bantamweight champion and WBO Asia Pacific Featherweight champion

He has wins over Viviencio Urcia (1-0), Diarh Gabutan (5-0-3), Nattaphong Panpaew (9-0-1), Junior Bajawa (14-1-1), Joe Noynay (10-0-1), Hisashi Amagasa (33-6-2) and Yoshimitsu Kimura (9-0). Pumipic is coming off a 6th round stoppage over Landy Cris Leon on May 1st in the Philippines.

At Friday’s weigh-in, Nova was 127.2 lbs. Pumicpic was 127.4
