Knockout Artist Kristian Prenga To Take on Sam Crossed on Saturday, March 25th at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City

Atlantic City, NJ (March 8, 2023)–THIS SATURDAY night, March 25thKristian Prenga will take part in the main event when he takes on Sam Crossed for NABA Heavyweight Title plus The NBA Continental Heavyweight at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

The fight card is promoted by Rising Star Promotions.

Prenga of Mirdite, Albania is 12-1 with all of his wins coming by knockout. The 32 year-old has thrilled his fans with prodigious knockout power has taken out Jaime Barajas (2-0-2) and his last outing when he drilled Alvin Davie in two rounds on November 12, 2022 in Atlantic City.

Crossed of Greenbelt, Maryland has a record of 11-3-1 with seven knockouts. The 35 year-old Crossed is an eight-year veteran who has a win over Josh Jones (1-0). Crossed is coming off a defeat to Calvin Mends on May 21, 2022 in Springfield, Virgina.

Appearing in the six-round co-feature will be undefeated flyweight Anthony Johns (5-0, 4 KOs) of Newark, New Jersey against an opponent to be named

December 17th Rising Star Promotions Card at Showboat in Atlantic is Postponed

Atlantic City, NJ (December 12th, 2022)–Due to unforeseen circumstances, the December 17th fight card promoted by Rising Star Promotions has been postponed.

“I deeply regret to inform everyone that the event on December 17th will need to be postponed until a later, more suitable, date. I, personally, take extreme pride in the quality of fan/fighter experience of RSP events and with such a short timeframe to go, we just can not pull it off due to last minute inconveniences that were far beyond our control. Thank you all for your understanding in this unfortunate matter,” said Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna of Rising Star Promotions.

The new date, which will take place in early 2023 will be announced shortly.

Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna Takes on Salim Larbi in Main Event on Saturday, December 17th at The Showboat Atlantic City

Atlantic City, NJ (November 29, 2022)–On Saturday night, December 17th, former world title challenger, Thomas LaManna will take on former Interim world title challenger Salim Larbi in a 10-round middleweight bout that will headline a big seven bout card at The Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City.

The card is promoted by Rising Star Promotions.

LaManna, of nearby Millville, New Jersey, is ranked number-eight by the World Boxing Association (WBA), and has a record of 33-5-1 with 13 knockouts.

Now 31 years-old, LaManna has been a professional for 11 years and the favorite of Atlantic City, will be making his 22nd appearance on the boardwalk and third at The Showboat.

LaManna won his first 16 bouts, and has wins over Kendal Mena (20-3), Matthew Strode (25-6), former world title challenger Mike Arnaoutis and his last bout when he won the WBA Fedacarible title with a 10-round unanimous decision over Michael Marcano (25-5-1) on September 8th in Colombia.

“I am Glad to be back headlining in Atlantic City in a meaningful fight, and like I’ve said in recent months, I’m just glad to be back in general, especially when I thought it was all over for me. Salim is a experienced veteran but I feel I’m on another level,” said LaManna

Larbi of Rahway, New Jersey is 22-11-3 with eight knockouts. The 35 year-old Larbi began his career in France and has fought all over the globe. Larbi has quality wins over Davit Makaradze (16-4-1) and Patrice Sou Toke (17-2). Larbi is coming off a draw with Nicholas Hernandez (20-4-1) on December 11, 2021 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

In the eight-round co-feature, popular Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga takes on an opponent to be named.

Prenga of Orosh, Albania and now residing in Niagara Falls, Ontario is 12-1 with 12 knockouts. The 31 year-old has fought in Germany, Albania and Canada, before campaigning in the United States, has knockout wins over Jaime Barajas (2-0-2), Aldo Colliander (15-2) and his last bout he disposed of Alvin Davie in two rounds on November 12th at The Showboat.

In a featured attraction, DeCarlo Perez (19-6-1, 6 KOs) of Atlantic City takes on Nadim Sollum (9-1, 4 KOs) of Brooklyn, New York in a super middleweight contest.

In Six-round bouts:

Paul Bamba (5-2, 4 KOs) of New York, New York will take on an opponent to be named in a light heavyweight contest.

Dan Murray (6-6) of Lanoka Harbor, NJ battles an opponent to be named in a junior welterweight tussle.

Tyrell Bostic (7-1, 1 KO) of Wyandamch, New York fights an opponent to be named in a junior welterweight contest.

Saturday Night’s Rising Star Promotions Fight Card at The Showboat in Atlantic City Has Been Postponed

ATLANTIC CITY (JULY 31, 2019)-This Saturday night’s big fight card at The Carousel Room at The Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City has been Postponed.

Unforeseen circumstances and logistical issues with some of the bouts is the reason for the show being moved to an early Fall date.

Rising Star Promotions is deeply sorry, and will be back with a great night of action at The Showboat.
