Split-T Six Impressive in Philly

NEW YORK (November 12, 2023) – Six members of the Split-T Management displayed winning performances this past Friday night at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

Those members include Sonny Conto, LeAnna Cruz, Greg Outlaw, Dante Benjamin, Haven Brady Jr. and Oshae Jones.

“Split-T Showcase” which was promoted by King’s Promotions, drew a capacity crowd to the 2300 Arena on a card that featured some of the best up and coming talent in the country.

The main event saw local favorite Sonny Conto win a six-round unanimous decision over Detrailous Webster in a heavyweight fight.

Conto worked behind a nice jab and rocked Webster on several occasions. Conto looked sharp considering that he was making his 2023 debut.

Conto of Philadelphia won by scores of 60-54 on all cards and is now 12-0. Webster of Courtland, Mississippi is now 6-3.

Conto is promoted by Top Rank.

LeAnna Cruz captured her first title as she won the NABF Super Flyweight title with an emphatic eight-round unanimous decision over Rania Walters.

Cruz moved around the ring with grace and landed slick combinations which led to a win by scores of 79-73 twice and 78-74.

Cruz of Allentown, PA is now 7-0. Walters of Toronto is 4-3.

Greg Outlaw stopped Sebastian Gabriel Chavez in the opening round of their six-round welterweight fight.

Outlaw was dominant in his Split-T debut, lived up to his “Sharpshooter” moniker. and got the stoppage at 2:47.

Outlaw of Bowie, Maryland is now 13-2 with seven knockouts. Chavez of Buenos Aires Argentina is 5-7.

Dante Benjamin Jr. remained undefeated with a first-round stoppage over previously undefeated Darin Austin in their scheduled six-round light heavyweight bout.

Benjamin dropped Austin twice and the fight was stopped at 2:14.

The Top-Rank promoted Benjamin of Cleveland is now 8-0-1 with six knockouts. Austin of Atlanta is now 11-1.

Haven Brady remained undefeated with an entertaining six-round unanimous decision over veteran Deivi Julio in a super featherweight bout.

Brady dropped Julio twice in round two and was close to getting a stoppage. Julio put Brady on the canvas in round four which was the result of Brady being off-balance. Brady closed the show in fashion as he hurt and dropped Julio again in the sixth and final round.

Brady of Albany, Georgia won by scores of 58-52 on all cards and is now 11-0. Julio of Colombia is 26-15,

Ali Ellis remained undefeated by pounding out a four-round unanimous decision over Nicoy Clarke in a heavyweight bout.

Scores were 40-35 on all cards for Ellis of Philadelphia, who is now 5-0. Clarke of Jersey City, NJ is 3-9.

Oshae Jones won the NABF Super Welterweight Title with a first-round stoppage of Samantha Pill.

Jones was aggressive and hurt Pill early in the opening frame. With Pill in trouble, Jones was all over Pill and battered her until the bout was stopped at 1;39 of the first-round.

Jones of Toledo, Ohio is 5-0 with one knockout. Pill of Fairmont, West Virginia is 5-3.




King’s Promotions Presents Split-T Showcase on Friday, November 10th at The 2300 Arena in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA (October 26, 2023) –A special night of boxing will take place on Friday, November 10th at the 2300 Arena as King’s Promotions presents Split-T Showcase.

The card will feature some of the best talent from boxing’s top management company, Split-T Management.

In the featured bout, local and undefeated heavyweight Sonny Conto takes on Detrailious Webster in a bout scheduled for six-rounds.

Conto, who lives blocks from the 2300 Arena will have his usual huge fan base in attendance. The 27-year-old has a record of 11-0 with nine knockouts. Conto is coming off a second-round stoppage over James Bryant (6-1) on October 29, 2022, at the 2300 Arena.

Webster of Courtland, Mississippi has a record of 6-1 with two knockouts. The 35-year-old is coming off a win over Terrell Jamal Woods on August 19th in Oxford, Mississippi.

In an eight-round but, undefeated super flyweight LeAnna Cruz (6-0) of Allentown, PA will fight for her first title when she takes on an opponent to be named for the NABF title.

Also in an eight-round bout, 2021 Olympic Bronze Medal winner, Oshae Jones (4-0) of Toledo, Ohio collides with Samantha Pill (5-2, 1 KO) of Fairmount, West Virginia for the NABF Super Welterweight Title.

Haven Brady Jr. (10-0, 4 KOs) of Albany, Georgia fights an opponent to be named in a super featherweight fight.

Dante Benjamin (7-0-1, 5 KOs) of Cleveland takes on Darin Austin (11-0, 8 KOs) of Hampton, Georgis in a light heavyweight battle of undefeated fighters.

Greg Outlaw (12-2, 6 KOs) of Bowie, Maryland will take part in a welterweight bout against an opponent to be named.

2023 National Golden Gloves champion Tyshawn Denson (1-0, 1 KO) of Akron, Ohio takes on an opponent to be named in a featherweight battle.

Seven Split-T Management Fighters Pick Up Wins

NEW YORK (November 1, 2022) -Seven Split-T Management fighters had their hand raised in fights throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

Wednesday night in Puerto Rico, Willito Ortiz stopped Bryan Rodriguez in the opening round of their super lightweight bout. Ortiz landed some hard shots that put Rodriguez to the canvas. Rodriguez had enough as he sat on his knee and took the full count of 10 at 2;05.

Ortiz of Bayamon, Puerto Rico is 1-0 with one knockout.

Saturday in San Diego, Asa Stevens remained undefeated with a four-round unanimous over Mychaquel Shields in a super bantamweight bout.

Stevens of Waianae, Hawaii won by scores of 40-35 on all cards, and is now 3-0. Shields was making his pro debut.

Stevens is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

Saturday in New York, two Split-T prospects remained undefeated with impressive victories.

On the same card at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden and streamed on ESPN+, 2021 United States Olympian, Tiger Johnson pitched a shutout and won a six-round unanimous decision over Esteban Garcia in a junior welterweight bout,

Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio won by scores of 60-54 on all cards and is now 6-0. Garcia of Brawley, California is 15-2.

Bryant shot right out of his corner, and went after Conto. The Philadelphia native engaged in a back and forth brawl and dropped Bryant with a hard left hand just before the bell sounded to end the opening frame. In round two, Conto continued to pound away until Bryant was weary, and the fight was stopped by the corner at 2:13.

Conto of Philadelphia is now 11-0 with nine knockouts. Bryant of Pittsburgh is 6-2.

Brady, Johnson and Conto are promoted by Top Rank.

In Milwaukee, two more Split-T fighters got victories on a card at The Tripoli Shrine Center.

Rolando Vargas of Milwaukee moved to 8-1 with a split decision win over Charles Garner (6-2) in a junior welterweight bout.

Javier Zamarron made an explosive pro debut with an opening round knockout of Ahmond Rayshaun Oates in a featherweight bout.

Zamarron of Sheboygan, Wisconsin dropped Oates three times before the fight was finally halted in the opening frame.




Conto Stops Bryant in 2

PHILADELPHIA (OCTOBER 31, 2022)–Heavyweight Sonny Conto remained undefeated with a second round stoppage in a scheduled six-round main event at the 2300 Arena.

Everlon Still took a four-round unanimous decision over Tariq Green in a super middleweight fight.

Still of Voorhees, New Jersey won by scores of 40-36 and 39-37 twice and is now 3-2. Green of Philadelphia is 2-2.

Carlos Marrero won a four-round unanimous decision over Tyree Arnold in a junior welterweight bout.

Marrero of Bridgeport, Connecticut won by scores of 39-37 on all cards and is now 4-8-3. Arnold of Philadelphia is 1-5/

Shane Slocumb made a successful pro debut with a second round stoppage over Jonathan Wiles in a scheduled four-round heavyweight bout.

The time of the stoppage was 2:58 for the Philadelphia native Slocumb, who is now 1-0 with one knockout. Wiles of Philadelphia is 0-2.

James White stopped Kenyan Williams in round three of their four-round light heavyweight contest.

The time of the stoppage was 2:39 for the debuting White of Warwick, Pennsylvania. Williams of Winchester, Virginia is 0-3.

Massive Saturday Night For Split-T Management

In New York City at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, a pair of undefeated fighters in featherweight Haven Brady Jr. will take on Eric Mondragon in an eight-round fight, and junior welterweight Tiger Johnson will see action in a six-round bout against Esteban Garcia.

Brady of Albany, Georgia, recently moved his training to Philadelphia under the esteemed Derek “Bozy” Ennis, and has a record of 7-0 with four knockouts. The 20 year-old Brady has wins over Roberto Negrete (3-0), Jose Argel (8-2) and his last outing when won a unanimous decision over Aaron Echeveste on July 23rd in Hinckley, Minnesota.

Mondragon of Maywood, California is 8-0-1 with four knockouts. The 24 year-old Mondragon is coming off a fourth round stoppage over Mario Aguirre on August 6th in Los Angeles.

Brady weighed 131 lbs. Aguirre was 130.6 lbs.

Johnson will take on Esteban Garcia in a six-round bout. The 23 year-old Cleveland native is 5-0 with four knockouts. The 2021 United States Olympian has a win over previously undefeated Xavier Madrid (3-0). In Johnson;s last bout, he took out Harry Gigliotti in five rounds on August 27th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Garcia of Brawley, California is 15-1 with seven stoppages. The 32 year-old Garcia has fought 15 of his 16 fights in Mexico. He has a win over Omar Molano (6-1-3) & Juan Ramon Guzman (12-1-1). Garcia is coming off a first round stoppage over Jonathan Delgado Martinez on July 9, 2021 in Tijuana, Mexico.

Johnson weighed 141.4 lbs. Garcia was 139,2

In San Diego, undefeated super bantamweight, Asa Stevens will take on Mychaqual Shields in a bout scheduled for four-rounds.

Stevens of Waianae, Hawaii is 2-0 with one knockout. Stevens, 21 is coming off a First round stoppage over Felix Vazquez on November 11th in Anaheim, California. Stevens is a former National Golden Gloves champion and World Amateur champion.

Shields will be making his pro debut.

Stevens weighed 122.6 lbs. Shields was 122.8 lbs.

Bryant of Pittsburgh, has a record of 6-1 with four knockouts. The 37 year-old Bryan is on a three fight winning streak as in his last bout he won a unanimous decision over Thomas Hawkins on March 7th in Pittsburgh.

Conto weighed 225.5 lbs. Bryant was 242 lbs.

In Milwaukee, at The Tripoli Shrine Center, two Split-T Management fighters from the Badger state will see action.

Javier Zamarron will make his pro debut against Ahmond Rayshaun Oates in a four-round featherweight bout.

Zamarron of Sheboygan, Wisconsin was 127.6 lbs. Oates was 124 lbs.

Rolando Vargas will take on Charles Garner in an eight-round junior welterweight bout. Vargas, 23, of Milwaukee is 7-1 with seven knockouts. He has stoppage wins over Nathaniel Lee Davis (1-0). Vargas has stopped his last two opponents, which includes first-round stoppage over Jerrell Hodge on March 4th in Columbus, Ohio.

Garner of Buffalo, New York is 6-1 with five knockouts. Garner is coming off a second round knockout over Juhvari Artis on March 26th in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Vargas was 143.3 lbs. Garner was 139 lbs.

Baseball and Boxing Tripleheader in  South Philly Saturday, October 29

Saturday, October 29 will be a busy night at 2300 Arena in South Philly. Heavyweight Sonny Conto (10-0, 8 K0s) will take on James Bryant (6-1, 4 K0s) in the six-round headline bout on Saturday. The Philadelphia Phillies will be in Houston facing the Astros in game 2 of the World Series. Jake Paul and Anderson Silva clash on Showtime PPV, all on the same night.
