Split-T Management’s Stephan Shaw Remains Perfect with 3rd Round Stoppage over Gregory Corbin

NEW YORK (December 6, 2019)- Split-T Management heavyweight Stephan Shaw remained undefeated with a 3rd round stoppage over Gregory Corbin on Thursday night at Terminal 5 in New York City.

Shaw dropped Corbin at the end of the 1st frame with a hard right hand. In round three, Shaw landed a hard combination that caused Corbin to be stunned badly on the ropes, and the bout was stopped at 2:14.

With the win, Shaw, 27 years-old of Saint Louis remains undefeated with a record of 13-0 with 10 knockouts. Shaw took out Corbin faster then former world champion Charles Martin, and will continue to be looked at as one of the top up and coming heavyweights in the world.

New Split-T Management Signee Giovani Santillan stops Wilfredo Buelvas in Two Rounds in Ontario, California

NEW YORK (November 26, 2019)- New Split-T Management signee, Giovani Santillan took out Wilfredo Buelvas in round two of a scheduled eight-round welterweight bout in the headline bout on Friday night at the Doubletree in Ontario, California.

In round two, Santillan scored a hard knockdown when he landed a big right-left combination. Seconds later, it was another massive right-left combination that sent Buelvas down and out at 2:31.

Santillan, 146.2 lbs of San Diego, California is now 25-0 with 15 knockouts. Buelvas, 147 lbs of Colombia is 20-13.

“In the first round I was trying to get my timing right,” Santillan said. “Thirty seconds into the second round, I knew I had him so I pressed him. After the second knockdown I knew he wasn’t going to get up.”

“I’m punching a lot harder at this weight,” said Santillan, a native of San Diego, Calif. “I felt my punches were a little too wide in that first round so I tried to tighten them up. I felt a lot more comfortable in the second and I was able to time Buelvas and anticipate which way he would be leaning. I saw the opening and I took it.”

Split-T Management’s Ievgen Khytrov and Antonio Vargas Score Knockouts in Tampa, Florida

NEW YORK (November 26, 2019)–Super Middleweight Ievgen Khytrov and Antonio Vargas each added to their win and knockout total by taking out Ernest Amuza and Szilvzter Kanales respectively on Saturday night at The Bryan Glazer JCC in Tampa, Florida.

Khytrov and Vargas are managed by Split-T Management.

Khytrov dominated the action, until Amuzu had enough and the fight was stopped at 2:59 of round three of their scheduled eight-round fight.

Khytrov registered his 3rd consecutive stoppage, and is now 20-3 with 17 knockouts. Amuzu is now 25-5.

Khytrov is promoted by Dibella Entertainment.

2016 United States Olympian, Vargas was successful in his 1st bout since suffering his 1st pro defeat when he stopped Kanales at 2:38 of round two of their scheduled six-round bantamweight contest.

Vargas of Kissimmee, Florida upped his record to 11-1 with five knockouts.




Split-T Management’s Raquel Miller wins WBA Interim Super Welterweight Championship

NEW YORK (November 26, 2019)–Saturday night in Quebec City, Split-T Management’s Raquel Miller captured the WBA Interim Super Welterweight world championship with a 10-round unanimous decision over Alma Ibarra.

Miller of San Francisco controlled the action and kept the previously undefeated Ibarra at bay and won by scores of 99-91 and 98-92 twice.
With the win, the fighter known as “Pretty Beast” raises her perfect mark to 10-0. 

Miller could now look towards bouts with WBA World champion Hanna Gabriels as well as Hannah Rankin and former super middleweight champion Maricela Cornejo. 

“It was a good fight.  Alma was tough, and it was a good fight.  I fought well, now I will look at the fight, and see what I could have done better.  I was dominant as I won most of the rounds.  I took this fight at the last minute, so I am happy with the fight and the result,” said Miller.

“I want to thank everyone who has and does support me.  There is more to come.  I just want to tell everyone that they can push for their dreams and don’t take no as an answer.”

Split-T Management’s Ievgen Khytrov and Antonio Vargas in action TONIGHT!! in Tampa, Florida

NEW YORK (November 23, 2019)–TONIGHT at the Bryan Glazer JCC in Tampa, Florida, super middleweight Ievgen Khytrov and bantamweight Antonio Vargas will be in action as part of a big 12-bout card.

Khytrov takes on Ernest Amuzu in an eight-round bout, while 2016 United States Olympian Vargas battles Szilveszter Kanales in a six-round fight.

Khytrov of Brooklyn, New York has a record of 19-2 with 16 knockouts. The former Ukrainian amateur star has won two bouts in a row since appearing on The Contender.

The six-year veteran shot up the middleweight ranks by defeating quality fighters in Chris Chatman (12-3-1), Willie Fortune (17-1), Louis Rose (11-1-1), Maurice Louishomme (8-0-1), Jorge Melendez (28-4-1), Aaron Coley (9-0-1), Nick Brinson (17-3-2), Jose Luteran (14-2), Kenneth McNeill (9-1) and Paul Mendez (19-2-2) all in his 1st 14 fights.

Khytrov has rebounded very well with stoppage wins over Malcolm McAllister (9-2) and his last bout when Khytrov stopped Gabriel Pham (11-1) in six-round on August 1st in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.

Amuzu of Prichard, Alabama via Ghana, has an impressive mark of 25-4 with 22 knockouts.

The former Ghanaian Middleweight champion is coming off a 3rd round knockout loss to Brandon Robinson on September 14, 2018 in Philadelphia.

Vargas has a record of 10-1 with four knockouts.

The 23 year-old native of Kissimmee, Florida has a win over undefeated Jonathan Garza. Vargas is looking to get back in the win column after suffering his first defeat on May 25th to Jose Maria Cardenas.

Kanalas of Pecs, Hungary has a record of 14-9 with nine knockouts.

Kanales is a very capable fighter as he is a former WBF Super Flyweight champion. He won that title with a 12-round split decision over Jozsef Ajtai on December 29, 2015.

Kanales, who turned professional also has a win over Zoltan Bodnar (1-0)




Split-T Management’s Eddie Gomez Looks For Revenge against Rashidi Ellis on Saturday Night in Indio, California

NEW YORK (November 22, 2019)–Tomorrow night at The Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California, Split-T Management welterweight Eddie Gomez will look to get even with rival Rashidi Ellis when they battle for the WBA Continental Americas Welterweight Title.

In their 1st fight, Ellis stopped Gomez in the 1st round, but Gomez is now back on track as he has been victorious in his last three bouts that has been highlighted by 2nd round stoppages over KeAndre Gibson (18-1-1) and his last bout over Saul Corral on June 20th in Atlantic City.

Gomez was a heralded prospect coming out of Bronx, New York, and now has an impressive mark of 23-3 with 13 knockouts.

Still just 27 years-old, Gomez has wins over Jonel Tapia (8-1), Antonio Infante (6-1), Luis Hernandez (10-0), Luis Hernandez (different guy—22-4), Steve Upsher (24-2-1) Daquan Arnett (11-0), John Karl Sosa (13-1) and Dennis Dauti (14-1).

Ellis of Lynn, Massachusetts, has a record of 21-0 with 14 knockouts. Besides the win over Gomez, Ellis has wins over Juan Carlos Santos Gullien (1-0), Luis Hernandez (13-1), John Karl Sosa (13-2) and Alberto Mosquera (25-3-2)

Both Gomez and Ellis weighed in at 147 lbs.

Split-T Management’s Raquel “Pretty Beast” Miller Vies for WBA Interim Super Welterweight World Championship On Saturday Against undefeated Alma Ibarra in Quebec City

NEW YORK (November 22, 2019)–Saturday night at the Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Canada, Split-T Management’s Raquel Miller will take on Alma Ibarra for the WBA Interim Super Welterweight Title.

Miller of San Francisco is 9-0 with four knockouts, and will be looking to add another belt to her collection that already includes the NABF Middleweight title that she won in her last bout on May 18th with a 7th round stoppage over Erin Toughill.

Miller, who was a 2012 Olympic alternate, will be looking for her 3rd victory of 2019, and with a win, Miller could be in line for a major bout as 2020 commences.

Ibarra of Monterrey, Mexico is also undefeated as her resume reads 7-0 with four knockouts. Ibarra, who will be moving up from welterweight, spent most of her career at super welterweight where she gained a win over undefeated Erika Jeanette Hernandez (4-0-1). In her last bout, Ibarra moved down to welterweight and stopped Paty Ramirez in five rounds on March 29th in Mexico.

Miller was 153.8 lbs at Friday’s weigh-in. Ibarra was 150.6 lbs.

Split-T Management’s Ivan Golub and Ardreal Holmes in action TONIGHT!!in Utah

NEW YORK (November 15, 2019)–Tonight, two Members of the Split-T Management banner will be in action at The Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Once-beaten welterweight Ivan Golub takes on Janer Gonzalez in a ten-round contest for the WBC USNBC Welterweight title, while undefeated super welterweight Ardreal Holmes battles Jose Antonio Abreu in a eight-round bout.

Golub of Brooklyn, New York via Goravoka, Ukraine is 17-1 with 13 knockouts. The hard punching Golub is on a four-fight winning streak and over his five-year career, the 30 year-old has wins over Kirk Huff (3-0), Tyson Harrison (2-0), Juan Rodriguez Jr (12-3), Marlon Aguas (9-0), James Stevenson (23-2), and in Golub’s last bout he stopped Joaquim Cameiro on August 1st in Monroeville, PA.

Gonzalez of Colombia has wins over Victor Coronado (4-1), Devis Caceres (14-2) and Carlos Galven (9-1-1). the former Colombian and WBC Latino Super Welterweight champion, Gonzalez is coming off a loss to world ranked Jamal James on February 23rd in Minneapolis.

Golub weighed in at 146,2 lbs and Gonzalez weighed in at 149.4 lbs. Gonzalez is ineligible to win the title.

Holmes of Flint, Michigan, has a record of 10-0 with four knockouts. Holmes, who was a heralded amateur, was a National Golden Gloves Finalist, and has a win over Bryan Goldsby (4-1). Holmes is coming off an eight-round unanimous decision over veteran Walter Wright on October 11 in Warren, Michigan.

Abreu of La Romana, Dominican Republic has a record of 14-6 with eight knockouts.

The 31 year-old Abreu has quality wins on his resume over Jose Eduardo Souza (1-0-1), Euri Ginzalez (24-6-1) and Wesley Tucker (14-2).

Abreu is coming off a defeat to Eric Walker on August 1st in Monroeville, PA.

Holmes was 155.4 lbs. Abreu was 158.4 lbs at Thursday’s weigh-in

Split-T Management’s Undefeated Middleweight Diego Pacheco in Action Tonight in Los Angeles

NEW YORK (November 9, 2019)–Split-T Management’s undefeated middleweight Diego Pacheco will be in action TONIGHT!! when he takes on Aaron Casper in a six-round bout at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Pacheco of Los Angeles has a record of 6-0 with five knockouts.

Pacheco has defeated four undefeated opponents, with his last win coming on September 14th when he knocked out undefeated Terry Fernandez in three rounds in Carson, California.

Casper is the most experienced foe in Pacheco’s young career as he brings in a record of 5-3 with four knockouts.

“I am very excited for this because it is in my hometown at Staples Center, my camp went very well. I have not seen anything on Casper. I just know that he is tall, so I had good sparring partners to prepare well for this fight, and I expect him to be very tough,” said Pacheco

Casper is the most experienced foe in Pacheco’s young career as he brings in a record of 5-3 with four knockouts.

The 18 year-old Pacheco has kept a busy work schedule since turning professional as this will be Pacheco’s 6th start this year and 7th in the last calendar year.

“I am very young, and every fight is a learning experience. My team has kept me very active and it’s a pace where I think I will be competing for world championships before others at my age.”

Being from Los Angeles, Pacheco has seen many of the world class events that have taken place at Staples Center, and on Saturday night he will look to add his name to the list of high-class athletes that have played the Los Angeles venue,

Robinson Decisions McGregor in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA (October 28, 2019)– Super Middleweight Brandon Robinson boxed his way to an eight-round unanimous decision over Martez McGregor in the main event of an eight-bout card at The 2300 Arena in Philadelphia,

The show was promoted by King’s Promotions.

Robinson moved side to side and used angles to land shots and rack up points on the inside on McGregor. McGregor was able to land some good punches from time-to-time, but Robinson was more active, and he showed some different skills from the mostly all-action style that he has shown in most of his previous outings.

Robinson of Philadelphia won by scores of 78-74 twice and 77-75 to improve his record to 14-2. McGregor of Chicago falls to 8-3.

Popular Avril Mathie made a successful Philadelphia debut with a four-round unanimous decision over Karen Dulin in a bantamweight contest.

Mathie, who is world-renowned Swimsuit Model and boasts nearly 1.5 social media followers, showed good skills and landed some good shots on the 25 fight-veteran Dulin.

Mathie of Miami via Sydney, Australia won by shutout tallies of 40-36 on all cards, and is now 4-0. Dulin of Providence, Rhode Island is 3-21-1.

Shinard Bunch and Vincent Floyd battled to a no-contest after three rounds of their scheduled six-round welterweight battle.

Bunch registered knockdowns in each of the 1st two rounds, and seemingly he was on his way to the victory, but unfortunately for him, he and Floyd clashed heads that caused a cut on the forehead of Floyd. The blood streamed into Floyd’s eye and the fight was halted.

Bunch of Trenton, NJ is 3-1. Floyd of Philadelphia is 4-8-1.

Ryan Umberger dropped Leon DeShields three times in the opening frame to score a 1st round stoppage in their four-round junior middleweight fight.

The time of the stoppage was 2:49 for Umberger of Philadelphia, who remains perfect at 3-0 with three knockouts. DeShields of Camden, NJ is 0-7.

Naim Nelson won a six-round unanimous decision over Roy McGill in a junior welterweight fight.

Nelson of Philadelphia won by scores of 60-54, 59-55 and 58-56 and is now 14-4. McGill of Harrisburg, PA is 6-4.

Damon Allen got back in the win column with a six-round unanimous decision over Dieumerci Nzau in a junior welterweight contest.

Allen of Philadelphia won by 60-54 scores on all cards, and is now 16-1-1. Nzau of Silver Sprong, MD is 11-10.

Angel Rivera stopped Nicoy Clarke in round two of a scheduled four-round cruiserweight fight.

Rivera dropped Clark twice and the bout was stopped at 1:41.

Rivera of Harrisburg, PA is 5-1 with four knockouts. Clarke of Jersey City, NJ is 2-5.

James Martin was knocked down in the 1st round, but came back to pound out a four-round unanimous decision over Juan Rodriguez in a welterweight bout.

Martin was able to stem the tide and win by scores of 39-37 and 38-37.

Martin of Philadelphia is 5-1. Rodriguez of Haymarket, VA is 8-16-1.
