Seven Split-T Management Fighters Pick Up Wins

NEW YORK (November 1, 2022) -Seven Split-T Management fighters had their hand raised in fights throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

Wednesday night in Puerto Rico, Willito Ortiz stopped Bryan Rodriguez in the opening round of their super lightweight bout. Ortiz landed some hard shots that put Rodriguez to the canvas. Rodriguez had enough as he sat on his knee and took the full count of 10 at 2;05.

Ortiz of Bayamon, Puerto Rico is 1-0 with one knockout.

Saturday in San Diego, Asa Stevens remained undefeated with a four-round unanimous over Mychaquel Shields in a super bantamweight bout.

Stevens of Waianae, Hawaii won by scores of 40-35 on all cards, and is now 3-0. Shields was making his pro debut.

Stevens is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

Saturday in New York, two Split-T prospects remained undefeated with impressive victories.

Haven Brady Jr. moved up to eight-rounds and won a unanimous decision over Eric Mondragon in a junior lightweight contest.

Brady of Albany, Georgia won by tallies of 79-73 twice and 8-74 to raise his record to 8-0. Mondragon of Maywood, California is 8-1-1,

On the same card at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden and streamed on ESPN+, 2021 United States Olympian, Tiger Johnson pitched a shutout and won a six-round unanimous decision over Esteban Garcia in a junior welterweight bout,

Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio won by scores of 60-54 on all cards and is now 6-0. Garcia of Brawley, California is 15-2.

In Philadelphia, heavyweight Sonny Conto remained undefeated with a second round stoppage in a scheduled six-round main event at the 2300 Arena.

Bryant shot right out of his corner, and went after Conto. The Philadelphia native engaged in a back and forth brawl and dropped Bryant with a hard left hand just before the bell sounded to end the opening frame. In round two, Conto continued to pound away until Bryant was weary, and the fight was stopped by the corner at 2:13.

Conto of Philadelphia is now 11-0 with nine knockouts. Bryant of Pittsburgh is 6-2.

In Milwaukee, two more Split-T fighters got victories on a card at The Tripoli Shrine Center.

Rolando Vargas of Milwaukee moved to 8-1 with a split decision win over Charles Garner (6-2) in a junior welterweight bout.

Javier Zamarron made an explosive pro debut with an opening round knockout of Ahmond Rayshaun Oates in a featherweight bout.

Zamarron of Sheboygan, Wisconsin dropped Oates three times before the fight was finally halted in the opening frame.




Massive Saturday Night For Split-T Management 

NEW YORK (October 28, 2022) -TONIGHT will see six of Split-T Management’s prospects in action over four cards throughout the United Sates.

In New York City at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, a pair of undefeated fighters in featherweight Haven Brady Jr. will take on Eric Mondragon in an eight-round fight, and junior welterweight Tiger Johnson will see action in a six-round bout against Esteban Garcia.

Brady of Albany, Georgia, recently moved his training to Philadelphia under the esteemed Derek “Bozy” Ennis, and has a record of 7-0 with four knockouts. The 20 year-old Brady has wins over Roberto Negrete (3-0), Jose Argel (8-2) and his last outing when won a unanimous decision over Aaron Echeveste on July 23rd in Hinckley, Minnesota.

Mondragon of Maywood, California is 8-0-1 with four knockouts. The 24 year-old Mondragon is coming off a fourth round stoppage over Mario Aguirre on August 6th in Los Angeles.

Brady weighed 131 lbs. Aguirre was 130.6 lbs.

Johnson will take on Esteban Garcia in a six-round bout. The 23 year-old Cleveland native is 5-0 with four knockouts. The 2021 United States Olympian has a win over previously undefeated Xavier Madrid (3-0). In Johnson;s last bout, he took out Harry Gigliotti in five rounds on August 27th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Garcia of Brawley, California is 15-1 with seven stoppages. The 32 year-old Garcia has fought 15 of his 16 fights in Mexico. He has a win over Omar Molano (6-1-3) & Juan Ramon Guzman (12-1-1). Garcia is coming off a first round stoppage over Jonathan Delgado Martinez on July 9, 2021 in Tijuana, Mexico.

Johnson weighed 141.4 lbs. Garcia was 139,2

In San Diego, undefeated super bantamweight, Asa Stevens will take on Mychaqual Shields in a bout scheduled for four-rounds.

Stevens of Waianae, Hawaii is 2-0 with one knockout. Stevens, 21 is coming off a First round stoppage over Felix Vazquez on November 11th in Anaheim, California. Stevens is a former National Golden Gloves champion and World Amateur champion.

Bryant of Pittsburgh, has a record of 6-1 with four knockouts. The 37 year-old Bryan is on a three fight winning streak as in his last bout he won a unanimous decision over Thomas Hawkins on March 7th in Pittsburgh.

Conto weighed 225.5 lbs. Bryant was 242 lbs.

Vargas has stopped his last two opponents, which includes first-round stoppage over Jerrell Hodge on March 4th in Columbus, Ohio.

Garner of Buffalo, New York is 6-1 with five knockouts. Garner is coming off a second round knockout over Juhvari Artis on March 26th in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Vargas was 143.3 lbs. Garner was 139 lbs.




Split-T Management’s Tiger Johnson and Dante Benjamin Jr. Remain Undefeated With Wins in Tulsa

NEW YORK (August 29, 2022)–This past Saturday night, junior welterweight Tiger Johnson and light heavyweight Dante Benjamin remained undefeated with victories on a Top Rank promoted card at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Johnson and Benjamin are managed by Split-T Management.

2021 United States Olympian, Tiger Johnson stopped Harry Gigliotti in round five of their six-round junior welterweight bout.

In round two, Johnson opened up a cut under the left eye of Gigliotti with a hard right hand. Johnson battered and bloodied Gigliotti, and in round five, Johnson landed a hard combination that was punctuated by a left hook that made Gigliotti turn and the fight was stopped at 2:17.

Johnson, 141.8 lbs. of Cleveland, OH is 5-0 with four knockouts. Gigliotti, 140.6 lbs. of Lowell, MA is 8-4.

20 year-old Dante Benjamin Jr. remained undefeated with a four-round unanimous decision over Leandro Silva in a light heavyweight bout.

Benjamin, 174.2 lbs. of Cleveland, OH won by scores of 40-36 on all cards and is now 4-0. Silva, 175 lbs. of Sao Paulo, BRA is 3-7.

Johnson began boxing at the age of seven as he had uncles and cousins who were professional boxers, including former light heavyweights Darrel Johnson (11-3-1, 8 KOs) and Ronald Johnson (17-1, 4 KOs).

Tiger Johnson had a highly decorated amateur career finishing with a record of 188-17, and saw him win a Gold Medal in the 2016 Youth World Championships; a Bronze Medal at the 2019 Pan Am Games; a 2019 Last Chance Qualifier Championship; Four 2017 Elite National Championships; a 2016 Elite National Championship; a 2015 Youth National Championship; and a 2014 National Junior Olympic Championship.

Benjamin of Cleveland is 3-0 with two knockouts, and will battle Leandro Silva in a four-round contest.. All of the 20 year-old Benjamin’s wins are over undefeated fighters such as Herman Rendon (2-0), Kevin Johnson (2-0) and Corey Thompson (4-0).

Benjamin amassed over 100 wins as an amateur, and was a seven-time national champion as he was a 2016 and 2017 Junior National Champion, 2017 Eastern Regional Champion, and a 2018 Youth National champion. He also took first place in the Emil Jechev International tournament in Botevgrad, Bulgaria.

In 2017, he was named the Under Armour Fighter of the Year.

As an amateur, Benjamin competed in the 176-pound division, but he will begin his professional career fighting the super middleweight division.

Silva of Woburn, Massachusetts is 3-6 with two knockouts.

Benjamin weighed 174.2 lbs. Silva was 175 lbs.

In Las Vegas, 2021 United States Olympian Tiger Johnson stopped Agustin Kucharski in round three of their six-round welterweight bout.

In round one, Kucharski had blood around the right eye.

In round three, Johnson dropped Kucharski twice with the finisher being a right to the head. Kucharski’s corner threw in the towel at 54 seconds.

Johnson, 142.4 lbs of Cleveland, OH is4-0 with three knockouts. Kucharski, 143.2 lbs of Cordoba, ARG is 8-5-1.

With the win, Adorno is now 15-1-2 with 13 knockouts.

New York, NY (March 29, 2022)- Split-T Management Fighters had their hand raised on Saturday. Those four were in addition to Ebanie Bridges winning the IBF Bantamweight title on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday night at The Resorts World Hotel in Las Vegas, Split-T Management went three-for-three with impressive victories.

2021 U.S. Olympian Tiger Johnson stopped Sebastian Gabriel Chaves in around four of their six-round welterweight bout.

In round four, Johnson dropped Chaves with a right hand. Later in the round, Johnson dropped Chaves with a massive left hand and the fight was stopped at 1:42.

Johnson, 142 lbs of Cleveland, OH is 3-0 with two knockouts. Chaves, 143.2 lbs of Buenos Aires, ARG is 5-4.

Haven Brady Jr. stopped Juan Angel in round four of a scheduled six-round featherweight bout.

In round four, Brady landed a hard flurry of punches and was able to put Angel down with a double right. Brady finished off Angel by dropping him with an uppercut and the fight was stopped at 2:05.

Brady, 127 lbs of Albany, GA is 6-0 with four knockouts. Angel, 126.6 lbs of Chile is 8-3.

Dante Benjamin Jr. won a four-round unanimous decision over Kevin Johnson in a battle of undefeated light heavyweights.

At the Montreal Casino In Montreal, Mary Spencer needed just 23 seconds to take care of Beatriz Aguilar in their scheduled four-round six-round welterweight bout.

Aguilar of Mexico is 7-7-2.

Massive Saturday For Split-T Management Fighters

In Leeds, England, Popular Ebanie “The Blonde Bomber” Bridges makes her second attempt at a world title when she takes on IBF Bantamweight champion Maria Cecilia Roman.

Bridges of New South Wales, Australia, has a record of 7-1 with three knockouts. The 35 year-old Bridges has won two straight since her heroic effort against then WBA champion Shannon Courtenay on April 10, 2021. Bridges is coming off a points win over Mailys Gangloff on September 4, 2021 in Leeds.

Roman of San Juan Argentina is 16-5-1. The 39 year-old is a longtime and distinguished champion as she has defended her eight times. An eleven year professional, Roman defeated Carolina Duer (19-3-1) to win the IBF title on August 4, 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Some of her bigger defenses came over Duer in a rematch, Julieta Cardozzo (12-3) and her last bout when she defeated Daniela Rivero on November 26th in San Juan, Argentina

Bridges, who is managed by Brian Cohen’s Empire Boxing. checked in at 117.3 lbs. Roman was 116.4 lbs.

Aguilar of Mexico is 7-6-1 with one knockout. Aguilar has wins over two undefeated opponents in Karla Ramos Zamora (2-0) and Estefina Zapiain (1-0). Aguilar is coming off a loss to former world champion Delfine Persoon on November 1, 2021 in Belgium

Split-T Management Goes 7-for-7 on Saturday Night

New York (January 31, 2022) –This past Saturday night, seven fighters under the Split-T Management banner all had their hand raised in victories in three locales over two countries.

Five of those fights took place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

2021 U.S. Olympian Tiger Johnson won a four-round unanimous decision over Xavier Madrid in a battle of undefeated welterweights.

Johnson landed 83 of 263 punches; Madrid was 45 of 235.

Johnson, 145 lbs of Cleveland, OH won by scores of 40-36 on all cards and is 2-0. Madrid, 145.6 lbs of Albuquerque, NM is 3-1.

Stephan Shaw stopped Joey Dawejko in the 8th and final round of their heavyweight bout.

Shaw dominated the action and landed hard shots throughout on the durable Dawejko. Finally in round 10, Shaw landed a big flurry, and the corner of Dawejko stopped the fight at 1:04

Shaw, 234.8 lbs of Saint Louis, MO is 16-0 with 12 knockouts. Dawejko, 258.6 lbs of Philadelphia is 21-10-4.

Carla Torres won a eight-round majority decision over Pink Tyson in a junior lightweight bout.

Torres, 129.6 lbs of Cleveland, OH won by scores of 80-72, 77-5 and 76-76 and now is 7-6. Tyson, 130 lbs of Brighton, ENG is 11-3.

Haven Brady Jr. was impressive in shutting out Diuhl Olguin over six-rounds in their featherweight bout.

Dante Benjamin Jr. made a successful pro debut with a 1st round stoppage over Emmy Rendon in a light heavyweight bout

In round one, Benjamin dropped Rendon with a left to the solar plexus. Moments later, it was a left hook from Benjamin that sent Rendon down again and the fight was stopped at 2:05.

At the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, super middleweight Tika Hemingway went to 2-0 with a unanimous decision win over Jozette Coton by scores of 40-36 twice and 39-37.

Hemingway was amateur rivals with Claressa Shields and had three amateur wins over current unified world champion Franchon Crews-Dezurn, former world champion Alicia Napoleon and former interim world champion Raquel Miller.

In Mexico, Welterweight Mary Spencer of Boulder, Colorado via Ontario, Canada made it 3-0 with a unanimous decision victory.




Split-T Management Quartet in Action on Saturday Night In Tulsa, Oklahoma

New York (January 28, 2022) — Tomorrow Night, Split-T Management fighters will be featured prominently at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma as four fighters under the top boxing management’s banner will be in action.

At 10 PM ET on ESPN, 2020 United States Olympian Tiger Johnson (1-0, 1 KO) of Cleveland, Ohio will make his 2nd start when he takes on Xavier Madrid (3-0, 1 KO) in a four-round battle of undefeated welterweights.

Johnson, 23, had a highly decorated amateur career finishing with a record of 188-17, and saw him win a Gold Medal in the 2016 Youth World Championships; a Bronze Medal at the 2019 Pan Am Games; a 2019 Last Chance Qualifier Championship; Four 2017 Elite National Championships; a 2016 Elite National Championship; a 2015 Youth National Championship; and a 2014 National Junior Olympic Championship.

Johnson made it to the quarterfinals of the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo before losing to the eventual Gold Medal winner, Cuban Roniel Iglesias.

Johnson was very impressive in his pro debut when he stopped Antonius Grable in the 4th round on November 20th in Las Vegas.

Madrid has a win over Cristian Castillo (3-0), and is coming off a 1st round stoppage of Daniel Arriaga on November 20th.

Johnson, who is promoted by Top Rank, weighed 145 lbs. Madrid weighed 146 lbs.

Undefeated heavyweight Stephan Shaw will take on tough veteran Joey Dawejko in an eight-round heavyweight bout.

Shaw of St. Louis, Missouri is 15-0 with 11 knockouts, and is considered one of the top heavyweight prospects in the world. The 29 year-old Shaw is a nine-year veteran and has wins over Danny Kelly (9-2-1), Jonny Rice (4-1-1), Joel Caudle (7-1-1), Donovan Dennis (12-3), Willie Jake Jr (8-2-1), Gregory Corbin (15-2), Lyubomyr Pinchuk (12-1-1) and his bout when he stopped Nick Davis in the opening round on August 27th in Plant City, Florida.

Dawejko of Philadelphia is 21-9-4 with 12 knockouts. The 31 year-old is a former World Youth Amateur champion. The 13-year professional has victories over Ricardo Johnson (1-0), John Lennox (6-0), Derric Rossu (28-7), Mark Rideout (4-0-2), Enobong Umohette (9-2), Natu Visina (11-1), Demetrius Banks (9-1), and Kevin Nunez (15-0). Dawejko has also taken former world champion Charles Martin and former world title challenger Bryant Jennings. Dawejko is coming off a loss to undefeated Zhan Kossobutskiy on August 21st in Hamburg, Germany.

Undefeated featherweight Haven Brady Jr. will take on veteran Diuhl Olguin in a six-round bout.

Brady of Albany, Georgia is 4-0 with three knockouts. The 20 year-old Brady has been a professional for two years.

Brady’s amateur career saw him go 65-10 with 30 knockouts, and won the 2018 Jr. Nationals. Brady won the 2019 Eastern Qualifiers and 2019 Jr. National PAL.

He is coming off a unanimous decision over previously undefeated Roberto Negrete (3-0) on October 23rd in Atlanta.

Olguin of Guadalajara, Mexico is 15-20-5 with 10 knockouts. The 33 year-old Olguin is a 14 year-professional who has victories over Horacio Garcia (32-2-1), Kevin Rivers Jr. (14-1) and Tenochtitlan Nava (7-1). Olguin is coming off a loss to Juan Antonio Lopez on November 5th.

Brady, who is promoted by Top Rank, weighed in at 127.8 lbs. Olguin was 127.4 lbs

Dante Benjamin will be making his professional debut against undefeated Herman Rendon in a four-round light heavyweight bout.

Benjamin, 19 years-old of Cleveland, Ohio amassed over 100 wins as an amateur, and was a seven-time national champion as he was a 2016 and 2017 Junior National Champion, 2017 Eastern Regional Champion, and a 2018 Youth National champion. He also took first place in the Emil Jechev International tournament in Botevgrad, Bulgaria.

In 2017, he was named the Under Armour Fighter of the Year.

Rendon of Odessa, Texas is 2-0. Both of his victories are over undefeated foes as he opened his career with a win over James Land (2-0-1) In his most recent outing, Rendon won four-round unanimous decision over
Yhorhighness Rezzaq (2-0) in New Mexico
